Evelyne Boulanger
Evelyne Boulanger is a senior perfumer with a passion for creating olfactory compositions that combine luminosity and richness. She has worked extensively with some of the most important brands in the niche perfume industry, including Armani Privé, Van Cleef & Arpels, L'Artisan Parfumeur and Nina Ricci.
Evelyne began her career in perfumery after studying at ISIPCA, a prestigious perfumery school in France. She started working with Robertet and later moved to Givaudan before joining Symrise, where she became a celebrated perfumer.
One of Evelyne’s most notable achievements is her work with Comme des Garcons, particularly in the creation of the two aromas from the Incense series, Zagorsk, Jaisalmer, and the Encens aroma in the BLUE series of last year. Evelyne has proven especially skilled at creating incense fragrances, a testament to her creativity and talent.
When Evelyne isn’t experimenting with new olfactory sensations, she likes to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys spending weekends in the countryside, diving and exploring nature. Evelyne’s approach to perfumery is to have fun with it, and she believes there is no creativity without fun.
In the future, Evelyne would like to create a chypre fragrance that is more transparent, pure and luminous, in which moss notes do not dominate the composition. Her passion for exploring new olfactory sensations and her ability to combine luminosity and richness make her one of the most sought-after perfumers in the industry.
