It has a vibe similar to Boss Orange. I tried the Jafra and immediately thought of my previous perfume; once I got home, I confirmed they are alike. They aren’t identical—the Jafra smells sweeter—but if you test them together, you’ll see the resemblance. No surprise there, as the Boss is from 2011 and this Jafra from 2014.
Keeping my promise, I tested the fragrance at the office today and it was brilliant. For those who don’t know, it’s far better than expected. It earned me plenty of compliments, it’s not linear with a nice evolution, good trail, and lasts about five hours before settling into the skin beautifully. I checked if it was discontinued and, luckily, the seller had three more bottles. I didn’t hesitate to buy them; I think this will become my signature. That hint of brandy gave me notes of coconut, a delightful surprise; it’s clean and soapy. If you find it, buy it, you won’t regret it.
I’ve just acquired this little-known fragrance; I didn’t know it existed. It’s by Jafra, launched in 2014. It might be discontinued, but it’s excellent; the bottle I have seems to be an early one due to its oily texture. Today I went for a run in fresh weather to test it with my sweat. At first, in the cold, it’s shy but present; with body heat, it became much more noticeable. It smells citrusy and spicy at the start, then middle notes of jasmine, rich tobacco, and lavender that add freshness. The woods, patchouli, amber, and vanilla make a strong impression. Tomorrow, with warmer weather, I’ll evaluate its performance at the office. Without a doubt, it’s a lost gem.
