Twisted Peppermint by Bath & Body Works

I have this year’s version and it smells identical to Christmas peppermint candies: initially pure menthol like chewing gum, but as it dries down, it leaves that lovely mentholated caramel scent. Perfect for the festive season.

This body mist is absolutely delicious. When I smelled it in the shop, it gave me a reaction, but I fell in love with its sweet menthol scent; it literally smells like those Ambrosoli mint-and-chocolate sweets, even though chocolate isn’t listed. I wish the mint lasted longer, as it only smells sweet once dried. Highly recommended, a treat without being overwhelming 😍😍😍

It literally smells like mentholated caramel, fresh and minty, yet very sweet. It’s one of the longest-lasting mists from BBW, as you can still detect it after quite some time. I really hope the same applies to the others 🙁

Ufff, this body mist is so delicious it makes you want to eat it. The mint is sweet, followed by a musk note that feels both relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I was afraid to buy it as I’m not a mint lover, but this truly surprised me. A very fun and original scent.

This is a typical Christmas perfume, featuring only mint. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike it; in fact, it’s my favourite scent from the brand, though I feel it’s just like Warm Vanilla Sugar or Vanilla Bean, but with mint. It’s the scent I associate with the time just before Christmas holidays, organising the tree and crèche with my mum, preparing custard or wine pudding… it opens with a cold, almost frosted and fresh mint. If you apply a generous amount, you can feel that typical minty coolness. This mint doesn’t disappear; it simply lowers in intensity to give way to a creamy vanilla, a slightly toasted and smoky cane sugar, as if a bonfire were being lit with the canes, and an undeclared note of chocolate that gives it a powdery, nostalgic air. After that, there isn’t much further evolution. Regarding performance, we must remember this is a splash. If you are looking for long-lasting scent and a strong trail, this isn’t it. Presentation: varies by year. Longevity: 3.8/10 (three hours or less). Sillage: 4/10 (though it seems strong at first, it fades quickly). Originality: 2.9/10. Versatility: 6.6/10 (not elegant but suitable for almost any informal situation). Season: Christmas or summer. Personal taste: 8.9/10. Would I buy again?: Definitely yes.

One of my favourites, unfortunately it doesn’t leave much of a trail and the mint doesn’t last long; on the skin, there’s a lingering sweet vanilla scent that makes me want to eat it. It smells like Christmas candy canes, but I love wearing it at any time, especially at night before bed because it calms me down.

I LOVE IT AND I ABSOLUTELYadore it! 😍💗 From the very first spray, it feels incredibly sweet, exactly the same scent as those red-striped sweets, the Christmas candy canes, yes, those round red-striped sweets. I really love that this perfume feels edible; the mint note gives it a super fresh touch, and when you first apply it, you get a refreshing sensation thanks to the mint. Its longevity is very good, moderate, with a moderate trail. It’s a pity it’s a limited edition; I’ll treasure it until it returns as a Christmas edition from BBW. I recommend this along with the Strawberry scent blindly to anyone with a sweet gourmand taste.

Twisted Peppermint was my star little perfume of this Christmas. The body mist is super sweet and vanilla-scented with a well-fresh mint, like those red-striped mint sweets we all know. The longevity isn’t the best, so I pair it with the body cream; although the mint in the cream is greener and less sweet, they work perfectly together!

I have mixed feelings because I hate mint and the smell of toothpaste, but this gives me a ‘fresh’ sigh that I adore. It smells like those white Christmas mints with red stripes. Surprisingly, I like it a lot. It’s super different and lasts quite a while; it leaves an incredible freshness, as if you’d just taken a full shower with mint and splashed water over yourself. How fresh, goodness me! I don’t detect any vanilla notes; it seems like pure sugar and mint. A delight and a Bath & Body Works gem, a classic Christmas scent for the brand with no specific target audience.

It smells like those white striped red candy canes or Christmas sticks. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to smell like sweet mint, more focused on a younger audience.
