Thanks for the reviews; I read them before purchasing and they were spot on. I’ve always liked Cartier Declaration and found a ‘literal’ replica that’s far more accessible. Obviously, its longevity and trail are softer than the original, but it leaves me completely satisfied. It’s a fragrance for adults that inspires confidence, elegance and a bit of challenge; it’s not one of those overly fresh ‘very aqua’ scents out there now. It has a subtle, very fine hint of sweat. Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes Cartier Declaration.

I hate my limitation with Iso E Super. I feel I like it, but it fails on longevity and projection due to my genetics, which do not perceive that note well as it gives way to cedar. It conditions me to enjoy it in bursts of variable intensity. I find it very similar to Cartier Declaration but with little intensity in all its components. I love the spiced citrus opening with the pepper, the carnal development of cumin with flowers, and the woody base. I do not perceive patchouli or ambergris, perhaps because the cedar-based Iso E Super in the base mutes the colours. It is a can, it is annoying, but it is not anyone’s fault. Overall, it is masculine, sexy, and very pleasant. Not quite as much as Cartier’s, but it is a very good alternative for the scent and price. I will buy it and use it with pleasure. Of course, I recommend trying it first.

Extremely similar to Cartier Declaration, with less potency and a slightly toned-down profile but much more affordable. It can also share a similar vibe to Terre d’Hermès in the opening. It falls into that category of elegant fragrances suitable for meetings or special occasions. Good presentation from Tous, though not widely known among the general public.

It is a photocopy of Cartier Declaration at a more affordable price without sacrificing much quality. If the smell of cumin bothers you, try Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir EDT.

I was looking for a perfume for everyday wear to go to the office; I have a TOUS and use men’s perfumes, so it was the first I saw in the perfumerie and it was at 50% off. I smelled it and loved it. It reminded me very much of Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir. It leaves a moderate trail and is very rich, so if you like Bleu Noir, I recommend it as it is VERY similar and at a lower cost.

I tried it a few days ago and it immediately reminded me of Cartier Declaration. I did not ask about the price because I lost interest as I already have the classic Declaration plus about six of its flankers. If you like it and it costs approximately the same, simply buy the classic Declaration. At least on eBay, the prices are quite similar.

For the good Luis García: an elegant, masculine scent with a sophisticated patchouli, perfect for mature, formal men. Potent and striking, it projects two metres for the first two hours before settling into an intimate one-metre bubble that, in enclosed spaces, invades the room. A spray at the nape is recommended for a refined touch; it lasts over eight hours. It is neither youthful nor easy to wear: it demands a formal look and at least thirty years of age. If for a young man, use it only for night occasions; for someone mature, it is an excellent signature. It is very clean, but the patchouli leaves a sweaty nuance, so use it with moderation.

There’s a saying that goes ‘I don’t care a fig’, so you can see how little value is placed on it. It doesn’t smell sweaty to me; rather, it’s a herbal-spicy-bitter scent that lingers from start to finish. Cumin dominates everything here. I haven’t liked it at all, and while it’s not an expensive fragrance, it’s not cheap either. So, I recommend trying it and not buying blindly. Not very versatile and more for personal enjoyment; I don’t think you’ll receive many compliments. Another drawback: it reminds me of Cartier Declaration but costs almost the same. If you like Declaration and can find it for around €20, it might be a reasonable purchase, otherwise not. Au revoir.

This is a fragrance you shouldn’t buy blindly. Some people detect a sweaty smell and yes, they do, but only after wearing it. That said, it’s not an unpleasant note. The opening is clear with bergamot and pepper, and cumin quickly takes centre stage. It’s a scent you rarely find on the street; it has personality. Suitable for men aged 30 to 50. My first impression was of a childhood smell, like stepping into an old bazaar. I kept bringing my arm to my nose to smell it all day and decided to buy it. It’s for daytime but performs well in the evening too.

To me, it is the most dreadful thing I have smelled lately. I hate cumin as a scent and as a flavour, so it is obvious. It has a very sharp cumin note. In my country, cumin is a seasoning used in exaggerated quantities in food, so I immediately associate it with empanadas or cebollado. It is fine for fragrances to have gourmand notes, but at least balance those notes. Scent: 2/10.

It doesn’t last long for me, a maximum of 3 or 4 hours; perhaps it’s down to my pH.
