  1. I’ll start with the comparisons: Parisienne is not even close to Wild Boost. I own both, and they don’t resemble each other in style; Wild Boost is more sporty. Mon Paris EDT resembles Parisienne more than this one, yet Mon Paris and Parisienne aren’t similar either, so this one is out. Escape is more of the same. If anyone finds Escape fresh, I won’t argue, but its freshness is floral and very dense, making it feel heavy to me. Wild Boost is definitely more fruity and energising. Anecdote: someone asked if I was wearing Halloween, but not even joking. I see Halloween as autumnal, whereas Wild Boost is for summer heat. It does remind me of something, but I can’t pinpoint the similarity. Initially, I thought of Escada’s summer editions, but those are fruitier and sweeter. It’s a mix between one of those and something more sporty… I still can’t find the match, but if I had to draw parallels, Wild Boost fits this league better than Parisienne or Escape. As for the cologne itself, I bought it online on sale for €4. I didn’t buy it blindly; I’d tried it in-store and didn’t dislike it; it seemed like a fresh fruity scent perfect for a summer jog. What a surprise, though, that by 9 October, it was the fragrance everyone praised most this summer (and possibly all year). I can’t count the times people told me I smelled good and asked what I was wearing; I can’t believe it. What does it smell like? I couldn’t say… I could mention negative and true things, such as it being generic or synthetic, not standing out particularly, but the point is it makes you feel good and, in my opinion, smells good too. Of the listed notes, I think the vanilla is just decoration because Wild Boost certainly doesn’t have it. I don’t detect the raspberry, though I do smell the melon; a very juicy, sweet melon. That’s this cologne: having a little cool melon snack on a hot summer afternoon. Another comparison that comes to mind is that it smells like shampoo. I read many people here saying this dismissively, but that’s not my case. Fewer feelings are as cool as the sensation of taking a shower and the energy you feel afterwards. Well, this cologne extends that sensation. Another point in its favour is its longevity. Incredibly, the cologne lasts and projects well. It lasts quite a while for this style. I stop smelling it soon, yet others can still detect it four or five hours after application. For all this, I give it a notable grade without blushing. I know it’s discontinued in Spain, but as sometimes remnants appear during sales, and in South America the heat season is starting, and they do sell it there, I’m leaving this review in case anyone gets the idea to try it.

  2. I’ll start with the comparisons: it doesn’t resemble Wild Boost, Parisienne, or Escape, which is floral and dense, too heavy for me; Wild Boost is more fruity and energising. It doesn’t smell like Halloween, which is autumnal, but rather like summer. Initially, I thought of Escada summer editions, but those are sweeter; this is a mix. I bought it online on sale for €4, tried it in-store, and it seemed like a fresh fruity scent ideal for running, but the surprise was that by October, everyone was praising it this summer. I don’t know exactly what it smells like; I could say it’s generic or synthetic, but it makes you feel good and smells good. The vanilla is just decoration and I don’t detect the raspberry, but I do smell the juicy, sweet melon, like having a melon snack on a hot day. Some say it smells like shampoo, and it’s not a dismissive comment; it’s like the energy of a shower. It lasts and projects incredibly, for four or five hours. I give it a notable grade. It’s discontinued in Spain, but it’s sold in South America and is worth it.

  3. I picked it up on sale; it has raspberry and vanilla, but it doesn’t quite suit me as I’m looking for something fresher and more aquatic; it lasts well and is intense, though it fades later. If you like raspberry, it’s a good option.
