I stumbled upon it by accident: I was looking for Fifty Four and ended up falling in love with Visionary Eye 😆. They told me the story with Bowie as the muse and made it feel eternal, although to be honest, I don’t quite believe the briefings or that Bowie would have smelled like this. Ropion does a very fine, elegant and measured job. It’s a perfume to savour, classic and masculine, without any flashiness but with that refinement only he knows how to give. The scent is very clean, almost cold (in the best sense). It reminds me of a blend between Le Male and Prada L’Homme passed through a high perfumery filter, smelling of a freshly ironed white shirt. The opening is the best: that spectacular iris with fresh lavender that fades over time but leaves an unforgettable initial magic. It’s elegant, creates a personal bubble and has that magical effect that invites people to come closer. For now, I’m enjoying the official travel version with a spectacular atomiser for its size. I’ll see what I do with it 😅 ⚡️

I bought the fragrance and was gifted a generous 8ml sample. Without a doubt, it’s a worthy representation of JPG’s Le Male in a deeper sense. I imagine its strength lies in what Le Male had in its early versions. Although it stands out for how clear it is, the iris is the perfect complement that gives it great class. Unfortunately, its performance isn’t the best, like the rest of Jusbox perfumes. I think it’s perfect for all year round, ideal as a signature scent and very versatile. On my skin it lasts around 6 hours and projects for about an hour more.
Finally, an iris that works for me! Forget the lipstick smell; it’s a masterpiece where sandalwood, musk and lavender balance everything. Totally unisex, 50/50, and I’ve already bought a 5ml decant to keep enjoying it.
