As always, I hate clones, but if the inspiration outshines the original, then it’s truly worth it. This is a version of Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather that tames that initial sharp, aggressive leather note, making it much softer. Here, the leather calms down to give way to spices and a sweet touch, rendering it far more wearable for daily use. It lasts forever, so be careful not to overapply.
I simply didn’t like it: it smells too floral, the leather is barely noticeable, and it comes across as very feminine, almost old-lady-like. Pastor Fragrances missed the opportunity to make leather the star. This is my worst purchase from the brand, even though their other fragrances are good. I hope they listen and create something where leather truly shines.
I completely disagree with the previous review, but every nose is unique. I absolutely loved this fragrance, which is based on Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather, thanks to the floral twist they’ve given it. The quality of the ingredients is evident and it’s worth the price. It begins with a sharp, citrusy leather note but softens quickly once the violet emerges, competing with the leather throughout the day. It has good projection for about two or three hours and lasts between eight and ten hours on the skin. It ticks all three B’s.
I actually didn’t like it at all. The scent reminded me of when I was an amateur perfumer using those cheap Chinese essential oils. For me, it’s a total failure; don’t buy it blindly.
