Top notes are lovely and the bottle is stylish, but the longevity is a complete disaster: it barely lasts three hours on skin and never reaches six. Although Vibrant Leather lasts longer than average, this one is terrible. We’ll leave it to settle and see if it improves.

I wasn’t expecting much from Zara, but In Tulum has taken me by surprise. I didn’t try the original Aventus Cologne because mine lasts a mere breath, but if this resembles it, I’ll take it at this price and performance. For summer, it’s good, pretty, and cheap: BBB.

An attempt at Aventus Cologne which, for the price, is more than adequate. It lasts around six hours. At first, it throws you off with aquatic and watermelon notes paired with a soft ginger, but then the true scent emerges. In Zara, it leans closer to Noble Palo Santo than Vibrant Leather. The box and magnetic cap are well-made; it could be your affordable signature scent. Furthermore, the INCI list is very skin-friendly. Au revoir.
