  • I was caught by the bottle and the aroma; it’s nice but not super delicious, nothing wrong, very pleasant but it’s the same old story. The cheap fixative ruins everything. CH sells things at luxury prices but they aren’t luxury. One more time, CH re-bottles their men’s fragrances in bottles with different decorations.

  • The bottle and the rich aroma surprised me (not super delicious, but nothing bad; very pleasant); but it’s the same old thing. The two-peso fixative ruins everything. CH sells things at luxury prices but it’s not really luxury. One more time: CH re-bottles its men’s fragrances in bottles with different decorations.

Nothing new in this citrus scent. It borrows notes of grapefruit here and there but they feel more like bitter orange: strong and sharp at first yet they fade quickly to make way for a refreshing slightly creamy aroma. The best parts are the exotic spices like Sichuan pepper and the earthy vetiver but unfortunately they don’t last at all. After two hours it’s barely skin-scented. It’s a rich fragrance but too weak. This doesn’t justify the purchase as there are similar scents with better longevity projection and trail (personally it reminded me a lot of D&G The One Gold). If you do buy it I’d recommend it for everyday wear in warm weather and in the morning.

  • I tried this fragrance on the go and it immediately reminded me of the original CH Leather, which is a spiced amber (very sweet with a pronounced leather note and various spices). Hot Hot Hot takes a different path: it slowly evolves into citrus, floral, and spicy, playing with violet, citrus, and sandalwood alongside the bittersweet fleshiness of rhubarb. It has a certain milky creaminess that blends with the smokiness of sandalwood and the fresh woody notes of vetiver, plus a non-aged suede leather. I see it as more versatile and mutable than its parent, and why not, a little more sensual. I don’t know its night performance; perhaps it’s moderate, but for daytime in semi-formal settings, it can be striking and generate an aura of attraction.

Everything okay at home? Or did they fire everyone who makes perfumes for men in this CH line? It smells identical to Under the Sea, with hints of Beast and a touch of King; nothing original, zero innovation. If you liked the three I mentioned earlier, you’ll probably like this one too, but if you already own those three and have more than half a bottle left, don’t bother: it’s the same thing. Besides, the earlier ones are more original and this one is pricey; I’d prefer any of the previous three. I have Under the Sea and it’s practically the same. I had the pleasure of being with my wife when I tried it; the women’s version, Hot Hot Hot, is incredible—if anyone wants their wife to smell spectacular, go and buy it blind. Hot Hot Hot Men, however, is nothing like it. 6/10.

  • Floral and citrus opening lasting 1–2 hours, followed by a subtle creamy, vanilla note—not very potent, with an almost imperceptible leather touch. On my skin, it lasts 5–7 hours; I see it as ideal for daytime and afternoon wear. The bottle looks nice and opaque, though it’s not a bad perfume.

  • Delicious perfume, cheerful at the opening and the base is supported by leather and sandalwood which give it warmth and creaminess. Longevity isn’t its strong suit: trail for 2 hours, then it fades drastically after a metre. I don’t have the other flankers, but I think it maintains the compliments.

Let’s talk about CH HOT HOT HOT. Its aroma is like the other flankers but it remains good; longevity is disappointing because after 5 hours it’s just skin scent and loses the brightness that caught me at the opening. My girlfriend has teased me a lot about it so you’ll receive compliments, however I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for longevity and projection.

  • Blind buy fail. The perfume is of very good quality, and longevity and projection are moderate to lasting. The problem is that the rhubarb note is very present and in my case I don’t like it at all. 3/10.

  • CH Men Hot! Hot! Hot! (what a name) is a citrus, aromatic and slightly leathery fragrance. Citrus and spicy opening, which also adds a creamy and velvety sensation like suede, a very pleasant phase that brought me memories of the original CH Men and its fresh flanker Central Park. As minutes pass, the citrus remains, but adds green elements like violet leaves and rhubarb, until drying into a light wood base. It’s an easy-to-please fragrance for informal settings, outings with friends or daily use, any season. Longevity was short, barely reaching 6 hours, and seeing previous reviews I realise it wasn’t just me. Projection also drops, only the first half-hour is perceived well, afterwards it’s just skin scent. The aroma pleasantly surprised me because I didn’t expect much; in fact, seeing the ugly bottle design I didn’t feel like trying it, but in the end it leaves me with a bittersweet feeling: the scent I liked, but the performance didn’t.

As minutes pass the citrus sensation remains but it adds green elements like violet leaves and rhubarb before drying down to a light woody base. It’s an easy fragrance to like suitable for informal settings outings with friends or daily wear in any season. As for longevity it’s a bit short reaching with difficulty six hours and looking at previous reviews I realise it’s not just me. The projection is also low: only the first half-hour is noticeable after which it becomes skin-scented. The fragrance has pleasantly surprised me because I didn’t expect much from it; in fact just seeing the ugly bottle design (at least for me) didn’t make me want to try it but in the end it leaves me with a bittersweet feeling: the scent is nice but the performance is not.

  • Carolina Herrera Men Hot Hot Hot: THE GREEN FLANKER WITH AN ORANGE SHELL. I can’t find any consistency between the name the design—two intertwined snakes on an orange background—and the word HOT HOT HOT. As for the perfume itself it’s rich; if it recalls CH Men here it leans more towards green suede herbal but not fresh. They aren’t the same at all yet they share that leather note where you’d expect it although Hot Hot Hot goes for a more herbaceous slightly sweet and very pleasant experience. If you already own CH Men this is a good flanker that might seem redundant but the scent isn’t quite the same and shares that tasty lucid and striking character. Its performance isn’t bad or poor but don’t expect a scandalous perfume as it isn’t. In my case at around 28 degrees it worked very well: I got noticeable projection for two hours and it lasted six hours. Its value for money isn’t great as it’s an expensive perfume that offers less for what you pay. I see its use as versatile for dates preferably in the afternoon or evening at a café or restaurant. I liked it and since I acquired it through an exchange I have no regrets but I admit I wouldn’t buy it at the price they ask. Scent: 9.0. Projection: Moderate for 2 hours. Longevity: 6 hours. I recommend it for the scent but not for the price.

  • Mmmm… they’ll say I’m mad, but this is a copy of the classic CH Men from 2009, just with different notes, but the aroma is identical.

An unforgettable aroma. This summery beauty was a true surprise within men’s perfumery: nothing like the light citrus or refreshing aquatic scents that flood the shelves. What strikes me most about this limited edition is its singular character. Upon application I notice a juicy accord that reminds me of tamarind at the perfect point of ripeness with a whisper of vanilla emerging behind it adding warmth and creaminess. That blend combines sparkling energy with enchanting sweetness yet without becoming cloying. Although many would categorise it as a ‘summer fragrance’ I wore it on sunny mornings temperate afternoons and even cool nights. I never felt out of place: it works just as well with a white shirt and jeans as with a more formal outfit. Its trail is light but present and the longevity surprised me: it easily surpasses eight hours. Beyond its fragrance I was fascinated by its unexpected personality. Carolina Herrera gave us something different for men a breath of originality that I miss these days. The day I rediscovered it I felt that spark of novelty and now that it’s discontinued I’ve embarked on a search for a replacement that does it justice. Final rating: I give it 9.5/10; it’s one of my great finds and a clear example of what perfumery can achieve when it dares to break the mould. Hopefully it returns one day!

  • A different, electric, green and modern summer fragrance. The opening features rhubarb with a damp sensation and an acidic green note. Violet leaf adds an aquatic touch, almost like cucumber or rain, while the grapefruit provides a bitter citrus that heightens the acidity. The result is a green, fresh, damp and sharp explosion. Then comes Sichuan pepper, the best part: it’s not hot like black pepper, but vibrant, tingling and numbing, keeping the grapefruit’s brightness. Angelica adds a herbal note bridging the green and spicy elements. This mix creates a ‘warm, humid and vibrant’ feel, like static in the air before a tropical storm. The base becomes sensual, similar to CH Men ADN. The leather isn’t rough; it’s soft suede and velvety, a luxurious and masculine texture. Sandalwood adds creaminess, making it addictive and soothing the itch. It’s versatile (perhaps not in winter) and garners compliments. For me, it’s 9/10. I bought it blind and have no regrets; it’s hard to find. PS: I love the velvet-lined bottle with gold accents, embroidered snakes and a matching cap.

True at first with that citrus kick, but the violet, pepper and leather quickly take over. In the dry down it smells of tamarind, reminiscent of Le Male Aviator or On Board, but with more talc. I wouldn’t recommend it at $100; it’s neither that good nor that exclusive. Projection and longevity went on holiday: projects at first, but after 30 minutes it’s just skin scent. Longevity is disappointing.
