It is interesting but unfortunately, if you already own Cobalt, it becomes redundant. I tested it on skin and I don’t know if it’s a marketing strategy or what; perhaps the longevity was slightly improved. I insist: if you have Cobalt, do not buy it; if you don’t have any and catch it on offer, choose the Elixir version. It isn’t bad but it proposes nothing new. Nevertheless, I recommend it 8.5/10.

Interesting, but if you already own Cobalt, this becomes redundant; perhaps it’s marketing or a slight improvement in longevity, but it adds nothing new. If you don’t have any, buy it on offer; it’s not bad, but it doesn’t innovate. I’d recommend it 85/100.

  • What a silly crowd it is to judge longevity and projection when the product isn’t even on the market yet, haha.

  • After two days of use, it reminded me of something I had smelled before until I found it. It is no more or less than Gisada Ambassador Intense. The opening is Bad Boy Extreme, but the rest smells exactly like Gisada Ambassador Intense.

  • I bought it at Druni and loved it. At first, it smells like Bad Boy Extreme, but that’s an illusion; soon a sweet pineapple emerges, in the style of Qaed al Fursan, with a spicy and sweeter touch. The vanilla isn’t cloying. The more time passes, the fresher it becomes. It fulfils the promise of being more refreshing than Le Parfum. I think the pineapple comes from incense and sage mixed with Cobalt, perhaps camouflaging the patchouli. There are undeclared notes, perhaps plum, given the similarity to Cobalt EDP. Good longevity, projection, and sillage, over 9 hours on my skin. Fragrantica compares it to 1 Million Lucky; both are sweet and fruity, but to me they don’t smell the same (Lucky shows its hazelnut and honey, cloying; Cobalt has more fruit without honey or hazelnut). In short, versatile and a good launch.

  • Tested in a perfumeria. I had high hopes for the original which I liked and still do. First impression: a mix of Phantom, Invictus Victory Elixir, and Cobalt. Nightly turn, sweet, and party-like. Performance seems good, but I prefer the original, which is more fruity and versatile. It left me indifferent; it adds nothing we don’t already have in similar fragrances.

  • I picked this up at Druni and it caught my eye. At first, it smells like Bad Boy Extreme, but that’s an illusion; very quickly it shifts to a sweet pineapple scent, reminiscent of Qaed al Fursan, yet spicier and sweeter. The vanilla isn’t cloying. Over time, it becomes fresher, just as they claim it’s more refreshing than Le Parfum. I believe the pineapple comes from a blend of labdanum and sage mixed with the soul of Cobalt, which could be truffle or even camouflaged patchouli. I also detect undeclared notes, such as plum, similar to the Elixir and fruity EDPs. It lasts more than nine hours. On Fragrantica, it’s compared to 1 Million Lucky; both are sweet and fruity, but to me, they don’t smell the same. In Lucky, you can detect hazelnut and honey, giving it a brash sweetness, whereas here there’s more fruit without that cloying honey. In short, it’s versatile and a good launch.

Almost identical to Invictus Victory Elixir but with less potency. I just tested it and they smell the same; although it changes a bit when drying with that touch of pepper from Bad Boy, it still seems very similar. A disappointing launch, just another one to ignore. Only if you have never owned Invictus or JPG style perfumes, but even then I wouldn’t recommend it; Victory Elixir is far better.

  • Little personality, very representative of the ‘2020 smell’, with a harsh dry-down, similar not only to the original Cobalt but to any designer fragrance. Performance and sillage are moderate, and on my skin it leaves a bitter aftertaste, like cheap soap. As always, test before buying and ask if this flanker was necessary.

  • ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY. A GENERIC FRAGRANCE WITH NO PERSONALITY WHERE THE NAME ‘ELIXIR’ IS OVERWHELMING: IT DOESN’T LAST MORE THAN TWO HOURS ON THE SKIN. I AGREE THAT THE SCENT IS SO GENERIC IT COULD BE ANY TRENDY SWEETIE.

  • Daniipntr

Tested on a decant. I agree that it adds nothing new and that the Elixir size is unnecessary. It smells good and lasts, but it is identical to Phantom Parfum: sweet, vanilly, and party-like. For the price, there are better options, although the scent is correct.

  • Daniipntr

I tested this in a decant. I agree that it brings nothing new and that the ‘elixir’ is more than unnecessary. It smells good and lasts, but it smells exactly like Phantom Parfum to me. It’s sweet, vanilla-heavy, and festive, more of the same. For the price, there are surely better options, although the scent is good.

  • I’ve tested the fragrance several times in a controlled environment, outside of perfumeries, as a friend bought it. I must say it’s DELICIOUS. In my previous review, I said it seemed redundant and like more of the same, a gross error. You have to test fragrances several times in different situations to avoid misleading impressions. It has the Cobalt touch but turned towards the night and ‘fresh’ climates. It’s sweet, with earthy touches that give it age versatility; I don’t see it as exclusive to young people, and it has good performance. It deserves to be tried if you liked the Cobalt and is perfectly complementary.

I wore it to test out that 3,000-peso price tag. The opening was BRILLIANT, but after 17 minutes and 23 seconds, it started smelling GENERIC, identical to Antonio Banderas’ Power of Seduction Extreme for 450 pesos… Comparing fragrances by their opening is why so many people end up hating their scents.

I’ve been testing this with patience for some time. It’s not innovative; it smells of things you already know, but that doesn’t make it bad; it has surprised me. The opening is splendid: fruity and sweet notes with a spicy freshness of black pepper. After ten minutes, the truffle emerges, the hallmark of the Cobalt line, a well-executed accord. As it dries, the earthiness hides behind a very noticeable incense, which for me isn’t quite natural and might repel some. The vanilla isn’t scandalous, just providing creaminess. It lasts around eight hours with decent projection, which is within commercial standards. If you’re looking for performance akin to Le Male Elixir or Sauvage, this isn’t for you; the name doesn’t quite fit. It’s suitable for going out with friends or as a signature scent in non-heatwaves. It doesn’t offend, and compliments come in. 7.5/10.

I’m writing this review from personal experience, having tested it extensively with patience. I’ll start by saying it’s not innovative; it transports you to scents you already know from other bottles. That doesn’t make it bad; on the contrary, it pleasantly surprised me. The opening is splendid. Although they don’t declare the plum (we know how flankers work), I perceive a fruity and sweet aroma with a spicy freshness of black pepper. At 10 minutes, the earthy truffle scent stands out, the distinctive element of the Cobalt line, a well-executed accord. As it dries down, that earthy smell is masked by a very noticeable incense, which for me isn’t natural enough and could repel some. The vanilla isn’t loud; it just adds creaminess to the dry down. Performance: about 8 long hours with decent projection, within commercial standards. If you’re expecting an Elixir like Le Male or Sauvage, this isn’t it. It doesn’t correspond to that denomination. The use is diverse: nighting out or as a signature in non-heat waves. You won’t offend anyone with this gem; compliments won’t be lacking. 7.5/10.

  • I sprayed it on my arm at a perfumery today and couldn’t stop thinking about what other scent it reminded me of, with that ‘ozonic’ note… until the lightbulb went on: it’s totally 1 Million Lucky. I went home, sprayed the Lucky on the other arm to compare them side by side with the Cobalt Elixir. They are quite similar, but the Lucky is much more enjoyable and wins by a landslide.

  • I’ve worn it for two weeks and it’s a total delight. Although I haven’t tried the Bad Boy Cobalt base, I love this elixir. The truffle and subtle incense are always there, and for me, the longevity (7-8 hours) and projection (6 hours) are incredible. I’ve read negative reviews, but for me, it was a fantastic purchase worth its price. The only thing is that after a few hours, it becomes a bit cloying, though nothing unpleasant. Final score: 8.2/10.

  • I bought it two weeks ago and I’m not lying: it’s a delight. I haven’t tried the base version, but I’m very happy with this Elixir. The truffle and subtle incense are always present. In my case, the longevity (7-8h) and projection (6h) are exceptional. I read other reviews saying it wasn’t what was expected, but I found it a fantastic purchase worth its price. The only downside is that after a few hours it becomes cloying, but nothing unpleasant. Final rating: 8.2/10.

  • Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir is aromatic, fruity, and spicy. The opening is sweet and fruity, like bubblegum, though it’s not declared; there must be something there. Additionally, it has an acidic green sage accord that persists throughout, while the truffle and a vanilla note develop. It works well for autumn, winter, and spring, suitable for daily use day or night. On me, it lasted about 8 hours with regular projection. Compared to the Parfum, I found it less attractive and unique, although it’s not bad. Don’t ignore my opinion and try it for yourselves.

  • The scent isn’t new, but it is distinctive. The truffle gives it a character that sets it apart from current sweet fragrances. However, in my case, it projects nothing and leaves no trail. I wanted it for parties, but it’s not suitable. It smells like a cold day or night, yet even though it’s a party fragrance, it doesn’t shine at a party due to how soft it is.

  • RicardoPowa123

It bears a striking resemblance to Invictus Elixir. It’s a blend of vanilla, incense, and pepper, but without patchouli.

  • AgusPieri198

A delightful scent that doesn’t project much in public, ideal for moderate temperatures up to 30 degrees. It’s earthy and linear, featuring truffle, pepper, and a sweet vanilla that gives it a lovely touch. It has good projection, more than moderate, and lasts between 6 and 8 hours.

  • I tried it in-store and absolutely loved it, but when I bought it again two weeks later, I completely regretted it. It’s a disappointment: not a single compliment, not even from my wife. It barely lasts an hour; on clothes, it just smells like a fruity powder, a bit childish or feminine. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone over 30.

  • It’s sweet, earthy, and dense—a scent you don’t usually encounter on the street. It’s for nightwear, but it can be worn during the day without too much heat. Very good longevity, around six to seven hours, and it projects very well.

  • Marcus_001

A blue fragrance, a cousin of YSL ‘Why?’ EDP. Better in the drydown than the opening. Accepting the generic nature of the proposal (given the current state of commercial perfumery), it could be a good option if you find it on sale.

  • I tried it in a department store and it has similarities to Le Beau EDP first batch and Invictus Victory Elixir. It feels sweet, juicy, tropical, green, and spicy. I liked it, but after 15 minutes the drydown changes completely: it becomes flat and simple, losing that tropical vibe and leaving only something sweet, green, fresh, and earthy. The longevity is disappointing; I was excited by the modern opening, but the drydown twist let me down.

  • Horrible opening, haha. The blue plum and truffle notes are far superior, but they feel like separate notes. Once it dries down, it resembles the original Cobalt, only with the warm notes more prominent. I don’t think it’s a good experience; the notes don’t blend well together.

  • The opening is a disaster, haha. The blueberry and truffle sounds great on paper, but they don’t blend well. As it dries, it smells more like the original Cobalt, just with more heat. It’s not a good experience; the notes don’t connect.

  • A good fragrance, the best in the Bad Boy line but also the riskiest. Following Le Parfum, it’s not a common scent and stands out for nightwear or everyday wear.

  • It has something I absolutely love: it breaks the mould. Instant love at first sniff. I recommend it for nights out in spring and summer, dates or dinners. It performs very well. If you’re a fan of sweet scents leaning fresh, you can’t go wrong with this. I save it for those seasons; for autumn and winter, I have other, more potent options.

  • Nothing to do with the Electric version. This is an earthy, dense, sharp vanilla scent. It gave me a headache when I first tried it. Zero use in heat or humidity; better suited to cold days. Try before you buy, it’s a rare fragrance.

  • SrEpectacular

It’s expensive, the most expensive one I’ve bought. Lasts a long time on skin, even longer on clothes. I recommend it for cold weather; it’s not much for summer, but it works brilliantly in the evenings regardless of the season.

  • It’s pure earth, absolutely delicious but it does repeat. Projects well and lasts about four hours on skin; on clothes, it’s a different story entirely—it stays until you wash them. I left a t-shirt with this scent on for three days and it was still there, as if I’d just put it on.
