Have you worn CH Eau De Parfum Sublime?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. obder1

It’s sublime, just as its name suggests. I don’t understand why they discontinued it; it is a refined and accomplished fragrance. I don’t wear it simply because I have no refill. It is a lovely, wearable, and sparkling scent.

  2. darlenerock

I have just finished my second and final 100ml bottle. How I am going to miss this perfume. So far, I haven’t found anything that resembles it. It is sublime, floral, and sparkling with an earthy base. It is unique.

Very sophisticated, like all of Carolina Herrera’s creations, with nothing in common with any other perfume in my collection. That mossy note makes it unique. The bottle is spectacular and lasts more than 12 hours. I wear it for myself when I am over 30.

I bought this perfume blind for its patchouli, leather, and earthy notes… what a surprise! On my skin, it smells very floral and I cannot distinguish the notes well. However, it is exquisite! It lives up to its name; it is SUBLIME. It is a floral fragrance different from the conventional kind. It radiates elegance, sophistication, and luxury. It seems much more expensive. Its performance and longevity are excellent; it is not linear. I prefer it on fresh and humid days, but it can be worn in any season. Perfumes don’t last on my skin, but SUBLIME radiated for 4 hours and then faded to nothing until I showered. I highly recommend it; it is my new beloved treasure.

REMEMBER: when I was young, I tried it and loved it; it was very different from everything I had tried before, probably due to the leather note. It is a pity it is no longer easy to find; I would like to feel it again.

I don’t like its opening, but once it dries, it is very beautiful, just as its sublime name suggests. You can sense the leather, the moss, and the flowers; it is lovely and reminds me a bit of Euphoria; I think they share notes.

  7. I love it! The orchid, patchouli, and leather stand out on my skin in a very balanced way, nothing invasive without over-applying. It lasts 7 hours with a moderate trail, semi-formal, and inspires me to wear it with a leather blazer and a white t-shirt. I prefer it in intermediate seasons because that is when it performs best. I fully invite you to try it if you didn’t like the CH Classic or the CH Privé; this could be the version you like more.

I am still thinking about how to make Carolina Herrera bring this beautiful fragrance back to the market. If anyone knows how, let me know, haha.

  9. CarCar

Now that I have managed to get a tester at a good price and am smelling it again in winter, the opening on my skin is much more soapy than earthy. The warm notes of patchouli and leather take longer to appear and stay a bit closer to the skin. I think I will keep it for sunny days or directly for spring-summer.

  10. I tried it straight out of the bottle and didn’t feel it was ‘for me’. Now, five or six years later, I think it’s beautiful. It has all the lovely aspects of the classic: that dusty praline scent that makes it unique and gives that unmistakable memory effect, but I find it more floral, with citrus sparkles, whereas the classic was sweeter and woodier. Once it settles, it reminds me of the original Jimmy Choo, although Sublime is less strident and seems a little more formal. I adore the Jimmy Choo; I’d love for this one to become part of my collection.

At first, it reminded me of CK Euphoria due to the patchouli, but then it smells delicious, elegant, like a soft, complete accessory. I want it with me always!

CH Sublime has what I like most in a perfume: orchid. I love that flower and almost all perfumes containing it are my favourites. CH Sublime is floral and smells mainly of orchid, passion flower and patchouli. On first spray, I notice a strong floral scent with a touch of sweetness. Then it loses intensity and settles as a soft floral fragrance. I wish the powerful opening lasted longer, as within an hour it becomes very soft and stays right next to the skin after four hours. It’s a shame; I think it has short longevity on me, but it’s special and looks very good for going to work looking sharp or for a semi-formal event. Of Carolina Herrera’s fragrances, I think it’s one of the few I like.

CH Sublime is a very soft perfume; it behaves like a gentle breeze, like a caress. It’s very elegant, with a simple composition and minimalist characteristics. I agree it’s similar to CH Rouge, only softer, more floral and slightly sweeter. The orchid is perceived in all its glory and makes a good pair with the patchouli; in the background, you can note the amber and leather, but much weaker in this version. The longevity is moderate and the trail vibrates constantly right next to the skin, making it a very intimate perfume.

I like Sublime more than the original CH, which I consider to be somewhat similar. However, Sublime is floral, barely sweet and slightly acidic. At the start, it’s somewhat intense and gradually the notes of rose petals and sweet candied fruits settle in, leaving a soft trail. It’s a perfume that denotes sensuality and mystery. The packaging is wrapped in synthetic leather as if it were a lady’s bag; very lovely. Kind regards.

  15. I like this perfume a lot; it’s floral but I always notice the contrast with the patchouli, which gives it character and personality. For me, it’s a perfume that can be used in any season, both day and night.

  16. Floral fragrance, pleasant for daily use, but nothing extraordinary. The downside: it lasts just over an hour, at least on my skin. A shame; I wouldn’t buy it again.

Very delicious, but it lasts nothing; it vanishes in less than an hour. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  18. Undoubtedly, it is among my favourite perfumes and the best ones. At first glance, I receive a citrus smell mixed with sweets, which has fascinated me. When worn for longer, it becomes noticeable (depending on the sense of smell and skin). This is the second time I’ve had it and I can’t part with it for years. I’m not attracted to floral perfumes either, but this has captivated me solely.

I confess I wasn’t keen on florals, but this is absolute madness. I bought it blind following the reviews and it’s taken me by storm. Perfect for daytime; I’ve already bought two more CH scents just to try them without regrets—they are top-tier fragrances.

  20. Hello, I’m new here but I used to read the reviews. This is my first ‘good’ one; I picked it up two days ago and loved choosing it in the perfumerie. It gave me that kind of joy that can only be understood. It seemed sweet without being cloying, similar to La Vie Est Belle or Poison Girl (both last a long time). I’d like it to linger more on me, but it doesn’t; if you greet me with a kiss, people smell it, but on my skin it doesn’t last. It’s a pity, but it’s a good start. Beyond that, it’s superbly rich and elegant.

Sophisticated and sensual scent, I use it for special occasions. To me, it has nothing to do with the original CH; this smells very spiced, whereas CH Sublime is more floral and feminine.

It’s a refined and distinguished fragrance. A very discreet floral where the orchid stands out; nothing sweet, vulgar or intrusive. It suits any season or moment, though I think it’s perfect for the shoulder seasons.

I love it, it smells superbly sophisticated and is very characteristic of the brand. It lasts a good while and goes anywhere. As I adore sweet perfumes, this is one of my favourites, but without being cloying. It’s even more noticeable on clothes. I definitely want to buy another one like it someday.

I agree, it’s discreet, refined and full of personality. To me, it seems very feminine and warm. It’s a top choice for autumn and winter, day and night. Rose, orchid, moss and patchouli predominate, but without being cloying. The trail is noticeable; it’s persistent and lasts longer on fabric (like handkerchiefs) than on skin. It seems like a great Carolina Herrera perfume, very different from the typical 212s. I recommend it for women aged 25 to 40. Ideal for going to work in enclosed places without being intrusive, yet making your presence felt.

Although I’m not a fan of floral perfumes, this seems very captivating to me. It’s discreet, refined and characterful. It reminds me a lot of CH, but Sublime is softer and less sparkly. It’s an excellent choice for winter, day and night. Patchouli predominates without being in any way overpowering. Another hit from Carolina Herrera.

It’s exactly as its name suggests: sublime for any occasion. Something discreet for the evening but it suits it perfectly.

  27. It smells similar to CH but less sweet. I gifted the CH to my mother because she liked this perfume, but I didn’t want us to have the same one and… ups! She still wants the Sublime. CH and 212 perfumes in general seem serious, for special occasions; when I turned 15 I was gifted a 212 and felt it was too prim for me. Now I wear Sublime at 30 and I think it’s perfect. In general, Carolina Herrera perfumes have a unique touch that makes you easily noticeable.
