Asrar is my favourite attar from Amouage, saffron-infused and striking the perfect balance between the femininity of Homage and the smoky character of Tribute, avoiding being too feminine or smoky like the others. It’s the most saffron-forward scent I’ve ever smelled, surpassing even Montale’s Aoud Safran in its symbiosis with oud. It possesses an exotic and spiritual beauty, ideal for autumn and winter. While not versatile, it’s absolutely worth it as a single drop of oil is enough due to its high concentration.
