I like it, but… I’m not switching to the wonderful Olympea Solar.
What a beautiful perfume!!! When I tried it, I thought it was very nice; obviously it wasn’t mind-blowing, because there are many in that style, but it’s a friendly, enjoyable, all-rounder scent for many occasions. I perceive it as FRUITY, WITH A TOUCH OF COCONUT🥥 AND PINEAPPLE🍍, I love it!!! And yes, it’s a flanker of Olympea because it keeps something of all its siblings. I don’t see it as very sophisticated, but it is a perfume you can easily choose because wearing it makes you happy ❤️😍
It smells of piña colada. That was my first impression. It’s a summery fragrance, but it doesn’t stand out in the heat. In the cold, its sillage expands with the pineapple, coconut and tiare, but in the heat it stays on the skin, highlighting the resinous base notes more, becoming intimate for such a sweet perfume.
I received a tiny decant with the purchase of an A drop de Issey, and the first thing I did was spray it on my hand so as not to waste it on paper hahaha. I think it has an air, just an air, of The Only One Intense by D&G, the one with the black bottle, buuuut this one by Paco Rabanne is more wearable. It opens with a very strong and juicy pineapple; gradually, the coconut and the flowers come through; it’s like a creamy piña colada, and to my nose it’s a bit addictive, I don’t know why. I don’t like fruity perfumes, but this one has something I like haha. It also has a hint of cleanliness; I don’t know what note it is, because I can’t see musk in the fragrance pyramid. I’ve never had a Paco Rabanne perfume, but now it’s made me curious to try others.
I feel the pineapple and coconut in the first seconds. Beautiful. It dries on my skin very sweet, you feel the solar notes and white flowers. Very well achieved. I wouldn’t buy it but I wouldn’t mind using it. Super summery, if you’re looking for a coconut note you have to try it.
If you like coconut —> it’s a perfume you have to try, as it dries you feel the vanilla, it’s a vanilla coconut not so sweet due to the presence of flowers. It’s different from the solar one, both are tropical, but here the fruit side is very present, and the sun plus creamy flowers, it’s really worth it for summer ♥
Buuuufffff… What a drop in quality. I’m going to get a refill of Olympea Solar before they discontinue it. It smells like a pineapple bodymist that costs 5€. What a scam.
I still have a few milliliters of my beloved Olympea Solar and in my perception they don’t resemble, that one I perceive slightly powdery and this one not. I value in the elixir the opening of fresh pineapple with coconut and bergamot that makes you want to drink it, a delight!. Then in the drydown the monoi becomes present with vanilla where its performance is very similar to a bronzing lotion. Nice packaging, beautiful summery perfume.
I was expecting a pineapple smell, but it isn’t much like other perfumes. It’s fresh, but nothing special. The sillage and projection are moderate, and it’s more floral than fruity.
The opening is very fresh, with a smell of very natural pineapple juice. Nothing synthetic. Once it dries down, there’s a creamy aroma reminiscent of a piña colada. Not at all suffocating or cloying—very sophistiated. The sillage isn’t invasive, but the longevity is bratal… it lasts for hours. At one point it reminded me of Olympea Solar, but this is an improved version, because Solar is extremely powdery. Olympea Elixir, I absolutely loved it!!!!
If you like cocount —> it’s a perfume you need to try. As it dries down, the vanille comes through; it’s a vanille-cocount, not too sweet due to the presence of flowers. It’s different from Solar: both are tropical, but here the fruity side is very much present, and Solar has more of the creamy flowers. Well worth it for summer ♥
