About Dieciocho Elixir
Dieciocho Elixir by MARIA CHER.: A Warm and Honeyed Amber for Women
Dieciocho Elixir is a feminine fragrance from MARIA CHER., designed around an amber character with a luscious, honeyed sweetness. From a bright, citrusy opening to a soft, woody base, it offers a warm and comforting scent journey.
The pyramid begins with orange blossom, bergamot and ginger, moves through a heart of honey, Hedione and broom, and finishes with benzoin, caramel, ambroxan and cashmere for an indulgent trail.
The first impression is fresh and sprightly, with bergamot shining brightly and ginger adding a subtle warmth. Orange blossom rounds out the start with a delicate floral creaminess.
Honey takes centre stage in the heart, delivering an unctuous sweetness that blends beautifully with the airy glow of Hedione. Broom brings a faintly green, resinous character to keep the florals grounded.
At the base, caramel and benzoin amplify the gourmand aspect, while ambroxan and cashmere create a smooth, musky and velvety texture. The dry down is rich, soft and very much present.
Key accords are amber, honey, caramel, musk and white flowers, with citrus and spice woven through. The sweetness is noticeable but balanced, making the perfume feel opulent rather than cloying.
It currently holds an average rating of 4 out of 5 from 17 ratings, a solid indicator for those looking to explore amber-based perfumes.
This fragrance will appeal to women who like rich, sweet and softly musky scents with a floral background. It is particularly well suited to cosy winter wear or evening occasions.
Dieciocho Elixir is an elegant, gourmand-leaning amber with a lovely floral heart. For anyone who appreciates honeyed, warm perfumes, it stands out as a comforting and characterful choice.

Powerful, sweet, honeyed and oriental aroma. Very similar to the original Cher 18, only with a more complex, deep, mysterious, elegant and nocturnal twist. Honey notes clearly dominate, although there is a prominent floral touch which, in my opinion, gives the fragrance a vintage feel. I kept it in my collection for a good while and I have to say that at first it was pure honey; then, over the months, it became more vintage but sweet, in the style of La Petite Robe Noire. It is a perfume that exudes presence, respect and night. That said, it is 100% suitable for winter and cold autumn; in summer I found it impossible to wear because of its potency.
It’s incredible. It has nothing to envy an imported one. Potent: if you wear it every day, you get asked about it every day. I’ve received more compliments with this one than with other designer perfumes. It’s candy floss combined with strawberry caramel, even though it’s not listed. Exquisite.
I remember having this perfume; I used it a couple of times and ended up giving it away because it was too sickly sweet. It’s nice, very sweet, for very cold days, and with a long-lasting performance. It’s quite similar to the original, but this one is more honeyed and stronger. It could be a very good option for wearing at night.
This perfume is atomic, impossible to doubt. In my city, I would have needed it in Patagonia.
Unfortunately it gives me a headache, but it’s really lovely (like the ordinary Cher 18, which also gives me a headache – it must be the honey) and it lasts for centuries on the skin.
