  • Yes, it’s similar to the JPG Scandal. It’s a sweet honey with florals and a citrus opening that dissipates quickly. Personally, I don’t like honey, so it’s not for me (nor is the Scandal). It’s totally gourmand, with a sticky sensation between that honey and caramel. In the dry-down, you also smell patchouli (even I find it bitter, though that’s an issue only my nose has). On my skin it lasts 6 hours with moderate-to-low sillage (quite good for being economical). It’s one of the best-sellers from the brand and if you like sweets (and honey), it’s worth trying.

  • If Scandal is a perfume I detest, this is too. VERY sweet for my taste. Thank goodness I sold it and got rid of it.

  • Manu_speranza

It’s the same as Scandal, that’s to say. I had it, used it, and enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t buy it again. I prefer the Lovely Pure by Mac Gregor, a great domestic fragrance that also imitates Scandal.

  • I bought it blind and luckily I loved it. I bought it in spring and kept it for autumn and winter because it’s muuuy sweet. It smells of honey, sugar, and more caramel. Of all the perfumes in my collection, it’s by far the only one that has brought me compliments. There hasn’t been a time I wore it that someone didn’t say how nice the perfume was. The longevity is beastly, about 6/8 hours for a domestic fragrance, excellent. Buy it blind if you like sweets; you won’t regret it.

  • It’s similar to Scandal but with a subtle floral touch, without losing the honey and beeswax. It has excellent performance and a beautiful bottle. Now the Glitters version has come out in a transparent bottle to see the glitter left on the skin. If you want something more potent, there’s the Elixir version, which is even more honeyed.

Finally I have it. I’m in summer in Rosario but I feel like wearing it anyway. It’s more for winter or evening. It reminded me of CH by Carolina Herrera, not the scent but the feeling: it’s sweet, makes me feel sexy and powerful, and embraces you with its fragrance. I love it.

  • I wore this a lot last winter and grew tired of it. It’s far too sweet; the white florals are barely noticeable, it’s all honey and caramel. If you like sweet scents, it’s for you. I tried it again recently and noticed it had turned bitter… it had gone off. This happened with several Cher fragrances. I recommend buying it for the season only and in 50ml so it doesn’t spoil, which is a shame.

  • I love the opening; I detect blood orange and peach, but the dry-down bores me with so much honey. I’ve kept it for winter because it’s far too cloying. The longevity is very good. Would I buy it again? NO.

  • I absolutely love these; I’ve already finished three bottles. Honey and vanilla dominate, with a fresh, clean opening thanks to the white florals and orange that lighten the mood. It’s a super-sweet fantasy that can be overwhelming if it’s not your style. It’s cloying and intense, with a strong presence and excellent performance for the price.

  • I didn’t like it at all when I first bought it; I felt it was the typical shopping mall perfume smell. I started using it later because my others ran out and I grew to like it; the honey is very prominent and it’s good for those who like caramelised perfumes. Now I use it almost every day haha

A BEAUTIFUL perfume that makes you want to eat it because of how intense the honey is (unlike Scandal, where it’s more subtle). The dupe is very well done; the only negative is the longevity: on my skin it lasts, at best, 2 hours. 😪

  • On my skin, it unfortunately fixes only the honey. A realistic, almost naif honey. I’m not disgusted by it, but I don’t like smelling just honey. I was lucky to buy the bodysplash and bodylotion set, and that changed things: I felt something like Black Opium with just a hint of honey, I loved it! I will then use the bodysplash version, which with the cream has good longevity.

I have the Glitters edition; I bought it for that and the reviews, but really I only smell honey. It’s not a fragrance I’d choose; it’s far too sweet, purely honeyed, at least on my skin. At some point I’ll take the courage to wear it so it doesn’t go off on my shelf.

I have the Glitter edition; I bought it for that and the reviews, but I only smell honey. It’s not a perfume I’d choose; it’s too sweet, just honeyed, at least on my skin. Someday I’ll take the courage to wear it before it goes bad on the shelf.

I bought it because of the countless positive reviews… I don’t know if I got a faulty bottle or if my nose is failing, but I feel none of what they say. Is the smell of turpentine the ‘beeswax’? Definitely not honey. No citrus notes. Perhaps turpentine with a touch of synthetic peach at 0.01%. I’ll go try it in a store to see if I change my review… for now, I advise against making my mistake of buying it blind.

  • For me, it’s excessively cloying. It smells like a children’s birthday party with candies, cotton candy and an overloaded cake of dulce de leche and sweets. Tremendously sweet. Its success must be that young girls like it; it has designer-level projection and lasts a long time for a low price and is available everywhere. It’s a hit among young people here. Honestly, none of the Cher scents caught my attention; at that price, I prefer an Arabic fragrance with more complex notes and not just cloying. If you’re looking for something original and you’re over 27, it’s not the one for you.

So far, the most flattering. In Argentina it’s a bit burnt, but it leaves its own scent. If I describe it in a few words: feminine, sophisticated and bold. It’s not youthful; I’ve seen it on women over 50 and it looks incredible on them. It suits all ages. The longevity is excellent; I recommend it for winter, it looks good day and night, but not in extreme heat because it’s strong and sweet. It’s a sweet scent worth the price; there’s a note that balances the caramel and honey, perhaps it’s the citrus or the patchouli. One of my favourites 💞

  • On hot days it can be cloying and heavy, ideal for autumn and winter. It’s the dupe for Scandal: the original projects more strongly, but once dry, they are almost identical. It’s sweet, gourmand and super honeyed. I own all the versions and this is my favourite from the brand because it smells natural, not synthetic. It lasts about 4-5 hours. Warning: use it quickly or the spray will break and become sticky. It’s super versatile for day and night, although my favourite is the Elixir.

  • FlorFanatica

I bought it a long time ago simply because people liked it and said it was similar to Scandal (I don’t know why I didn’t try it), and I had to give it away because it was extremely sweet. The honey felt too prominent on my skin and I couldn’t tolerate it; it was overwhelming.

  • Very rich, feminine and sweet. I’ve repurchased it twice and I think it’s a triumph buying it without seeing the bottle.

  • Rich, honey scent, but nothing extraordinary. It’s a successful perfume that’s very popular in Argentina; everyone uses it. I’m waiting for Dieciocho Elixir to be released, because that one truly makes me stand up; it’s excellent. I usually get migraines with very sweet perfumes, but its floral opening compensates for it. Super addictive and lasts all day.

  • Valentinesday

I find it very heavy and dislike the opening. It’s lovely after a while, but at first it smells extremely cloying or like orange.

  • delfina1993

I like it because on my skin it ends up soapy. I thought I would hate it, but I find it very wearable; sweet in an oriental, mature way.

  • Chocolate con licor

What a terrible thing, worse than Scandal, which I already hated for its strong patchouli and intense honey. This smells super sweet, syrupy, and cloying; quite synthetic, I only detect caramel and honey. The scent is heavy, although the trail and longevity are decent and it’s cheap. It’s not elegant, nor youthful, fresh, or warm. It smells like a 14-year-old covering up armpit odour after gym class. I find it very ugly and nonsensical. 2/10; the only good points are the price and longevity.

  • Blondielicious

Scandal hadn’t won me over, but years later I felt the need to return. I wasn’t planning to spend much as it’s not one of my favourites, but I wanted that sweet note in my collection. When I tried this version, I liked it quite a bit. It’s identical and delicious. I loved it for everyday wear, although I feel it’s a bit too strong for daytime and falls flat at night. I find it youthful, nothing sophisticated or sensual. I’d give it a 7. It’s rich, but on me it doesn’t last more than three or four hours. Perhaps I should let it mature.

  • flor.lucia

One of my most-used perfumes; spectacular. I dare say everyone likes it (unless you hate sweets). It has a sparkling, honeyed touch but is far from cloying. I’d say it’s fresh, perfect for daytime wear. Although it’s versatile enough for all seasons, I enjoy it most in spring and summer. I absolutely love it.

  • Honey, honey, and more honey. It literally smells like a jar of honey; sweet and potent. At first, it didn’t convince me because it was too strong, but over time I fell in love with it, especially the dry-down. I understand those who can’t stand it; if you over-spray, it becomes unbearable. I adore it, but if you’re looking for something subtle, this isn’t it.

  • Ana220895

I don’t like this Scandal imitation. I wouldn’t buy it. It generates nothing for me; I’m just tired of smelling it; with this version the Scandal scent became mass-produced with a tacky touch.

  • In my opinion it’s a lovely, sweet, very honeyed and floral fragrance. It doesn’t overwhelm or give me a headache like others. It has differences from the Scandal: this smells much sweeter and more basic, while the original has different twists. They are two lovely perfumes for lovers of sweet scents. If you like the Scandal but not its price, try this. If you like sweet perfumes, I also recommend it. It’s for everyday wear with longevity matching the price. It’s a 7/10.

  • It’s a strident, extroverted, sickly sweet and ultra-feminine fragrance. Mainly honey with flowers and fruit in the background. I didn’t know it and found it pleasant, but knowing it was ‘overdone’ and reading that someone called it a lady’s perfume, now I feel that way. Perhaps it’s not the scent (which is gourmand and contemporary), but its suffocating aspect. The performance is incredible, but it could annoy people around you. It also has a distinct powdery note that feels old-fashioned, but in my opinion it’s well-blended and doesn’t clash with the honey.

  • I’m reviewing again to compare the Cher 18 with its dupes (which aren’t on Fragrantica): 🍯 Cher 18 EDP: Lovely, sweet and honeyed. It resembles the JPG Scandal but with more flowers and fruit at the start, and it’s less heavy. Ideal for autumn-winter and very versatile. I think it’s the most ‘overdone’; I hear it a lot on the street. 🍯✨ Cher 18 Glitter Edition: Same as the EDP but with glitters; the honey is more noticeable. They are almost identical in scent, but being thicker, it lasts longer. It’s the hardest to find; I only saw it at Parfumerie. 🍮👠 Cher 18 Elixir: This is Le Parfum, not EDP. Very concentrated, sweet and caramelised; the flowers go unnoticed. Better not to over-spray or you’ll get sickly sweet. It projects a lot, lasts until the next day and weeks on clothes. Sweet and elegant, perfect for winter and evening. 🍊 Cher 18 Glossy: The most distinct and least original. On my skin it’s the fruity notes with a vanilla base (my sister smells more vanilla). Ideal for spring or cool days. It doesn’t resemble the Scandal, but it does fit the JPG style. I think it’s a dupe for La Belle, which I also didn’t like. Of all the versions, this was the one I liked the least. 🍹🥂🍊 Cher 18 Spritz: I felt something similar before. At first it reminds me of the original Cher 18, but later the tangerine takes centre stage. It smells like tangerine with an effervescent and nocturnal touch. It’s rich but not overwhelming; it reminded me of summer perfumes like Kaiak or IN2U, though perhaps it’s more for the night. Of all the flankers, this has the least longevity. I don’t know which is my favourite, maybe the Glitter. I hope Cher improves the bottles; the atomisers break quickly.

  • Blondielicious

🌺🍊~ Cher 18 Glossy ~🥥🍬 I bought it blindly because of its tangerine scent (I hate that aroma in life but I love it in perfumery) and its creamy meringue notes, far from the honey of the classic version. Does anyone else feel it smells hyper-similar to the Pepe Jeans London for Her (the coral cup)? I do. It’s rich but I imagined it to be more different from the Classic 18; without being identical, it retains too much of the DNA. I bought it thinking it was a different scent, only to find it’s very muddled. I’ll use it anyway because for the price it’s pleasant, even on spring days. I recommend it for a teenage audience.

  • My first national love and the one I’ll always buy again. It’s sweet (very), persistent, feminine and has good value for money. The Glitter version is the same, but beware: the glitters clog the atomiser and stop the perfume from coming out; mine evaporated somehow. Fan of the 18 and I recommend everyone to get one.

  • I like it but it doesn’t quite convince me; it smells like unoriginal, cloying vanilla and it wore me out. It doesn’t last more than four hours; I prefer its body splash version, which is more wearable. They say it smells like cat urine, but I have a cat and they don’t resemble each other at all, nor is it a dupe; my cat’s Elixir lasts longer. If it doesn’t suit your skin, use it on clothes only. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • denissebellini

The Cher 18 is nice; it’s floral and fresh, but it’s a fragrance that doesn’t stand out; it’s very common.

  • Delicious, sweet and youthful. A good dupe for the Scandal EDP, very honeyed and gives me a toothache.

  • Everyone was showering me with compliments about the longevity and the praise it supposedly received, so I bought it blindly. Result: it smells like cheap plastic, reminds me of an Antonio Banderas fragrance but worse, and on my skin it barely lasts two hours. I tried the 18 Glossy too and couldn’t stand it; they both smell like low-quality perfume. @Fer96’s review of this line is comprehensive.
