I absolutely loved your review of this CHER fragrance, which is so underrated! It’s exactly as you describe: it needs time because it has a beautiful evolution and expresses itself differently on each skin. Just be aware that some people might prefer cherries, caramel, or vanilla and won’t enjoy the greenery of this one.

To each their own. I don’t like D&G Light Blue; I’ve tried it several times and there’s no way: I find it simple, very dry, and it doesn’t last at all on the skin. For those who know perfumes, we know this style isn’t about longevity bombs, but some last longer than others; it all depends on skin pH. I like Iris, and as a fan of the summer from I Love by Moschino, I like this fragrance, but you have to give the skin time to see its evolution. It’s not flawed; its opening is like burnt orange peel: put a peel over a flame and you’ll recognise the smell. Then you have to like the green; the ultimate expression is Aura by Thierry Mugler (discontinued) or Eden by Cacharel, or Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden. This perfume mixes everything: the sharp orange note at the start softens after 20 minutes, then blends with the heart, sweet flowers, and that green tea freshness. After an hour and a half, it has settled. If it has sillage and lasts on the skin, considering that even expensive perfumes of this style aren’t bombs, they are for day and summer, so they can’t be heavy. I don’t have another perfume that shows the evolution of Iris so clearly. Should I recommend it? Yes, I couldn’t say no because, as I said, to each their own. Some people like cherries while others find them like cough syrup, or the greens like Aura that smell like grass or insecticide to others. It’s a matter of taste; perfumes aren’t bad or ugly, it’s just that each skin takes the essences according to its pH and care. Anyway, it’s a good perfume, just for people who aren’t simple-tasting. I hope I’ve helped. Repeat: it has a sharp burnt orange opening, but it softens until it blends with the next phase; if you don’t give it time, you won’t know if you love or hate it.

I saw a TikTok claiming it smells like celery, and it’s true. It smells of celery, then in the heart it’s similar to the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue but in a poor version, as the green tea note still dominates, making it invasive with a powerful trail that won’t wash off. If you love intense herbal scents and celery, you’ll adore it; if not, don’t buy it blindly. It lasts a very long time, something I always value in Cher, and it’s a bargain in Argentina, available very cheaply.

This perfume seemed extremely unpleasant to me when I tried it. I detected a grassy smell, very herbal. I’d prefer other options if I have to choose a summer fragrance.

It has a floral opening, but the fragrance evolves and becomes horrible. After a few hours, it returns to the pleasant smell of the beginning. That’s very strange. I bought it only because it was very cheap. I wouldn’t recommend it.

MaggieMay, the YouTuber Morolove, mentioned that it was withdrawn from the market because something failed in the formulation and it turned nasty for everyone… what a pity because it smelled lovely, and it’s a shame the company didn’t take responsibility.

What a rubbish product. That’s exactly what I’d say. I’ve set it aside because some time ago it developed a horrible smell, but I didn’t want to throw it away because I literally have it full. I just tested it on my wrist, and within a minute it started burning; I looked down and I had a rash 😤🤬🤬🤬. When I noticed the bad smell, I complained to the brand, and they never responded. What a pity they lose value like this for not taking responsibility!!! #Furious

No one knows where they got the idea that it smells like Light Blue; it’s totally different. It’s identical to Shakira’s Dance Diamonds and fades with a single breath. It’s nice, but not a killer.

A lovely fragrance for very hot days. What stands out most is the tea and apple note, but as it’s fresh and budget-friendly, the longevity is fleeting and the trail almost non-existent. I agree with those who say that after a few months the scent changes and no longer smells good; it’s a pity because it’s not worth collecting. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

I wasn’t fascinated by it, but I liked it for very hot days as it was extremely refreshing. I bought it in January 2023. When the heat returned in November, I decided to try it again, only to find it had gone off. It smelled terribly bitter and horrible. If you want it, buy the 50ml version and use it up for the season. If not, you’ll ruin the product as it’s not of good quality. What a pity.

What a horrible fragrance; it smells like diluted floor cleaner. It bears no resemblance to the Moschino Funny, nor the Green Tea or Light Blue. To describe it better, it’s probably a combination of apple, cedar, moss, violet and very synthetic, bad musk. It seems to have marine or ambergris notes, but as I repeat, badly, badly, the worst in the collection.

The Iris isn’t identical to the Light Blue, but it’s heading in the right direction thanks to that sweet touch the original lacks. It’s a pleasant, rich fragrance, although its only flaw is longevity. Otherwise, it screams summer and sunshine.
