When I bought it I thought it was older, like 90s type, because of the scent. I find it very masculine, spicy woody. But mind you, it has a vintage touch. Very macho.
Well, this youthful 90s “Classic” has its virtues like any fragrance, why not! I find it fresh herbal, with a citrus that blends throughout the development with the peppers and gives it an earthy, harsh tone. The floral note and the mossy note are also perceptible. I find it very simple, for starting out in this hobby and for a young audience or also for office or sporty use. It has longevity and makes itself noticed… But it’s not for me.
I remember I went to buy this perfume when it launched, unfortunately I didn’t like it at all. I don’t quite remember what the scent was like, but I remember it wasn’t citrusy or fresh. It was a shame for me, because I loved the bottle and the idea of the advertising image, but the fragrance wasn’t to my liking.
It’s nice, fresh, ideal for summer, decent longevity but fairly weak projection. Another criticism but this one is perhaps more personal is that in the dry-down I get the impression there’s a lingering smell of cat urine, I suppose it’s because of the undeclared passion fruit note as Prieth points out. But overall it’s not a bad perfume, but it’s just for going out at the weekend during the day casually.
It has one of the most interesting fruity openings I have come across in masculine fragrances, as grapefruit truly leads the composition, but there is another undeclared fruity note at the start that seems like a tropical fruit, perhaps passion fruit or something similar. This fruity combination wears well for the first hour after application and feels aromatic, yet not sweet. After four hours the grapefruit is still clearly perceptible, but with the soft floral touch of geranium and even softer lavender. I didn’t quite pick up the green notes. The pepper is gentle. In the dry-down, the fragrance lingers close to the skin, blending grapefruit with amber, and I couldn’t quite recognise the other listed notes of suede and oakmoss. It is a lovely fragrance, youthful, informal or casual, for summer or spring afternoons, with good longevity and moderate to soft sillage. Ideal for those seeking soft aromatic fruity fragrances and who steer clear of too much wood or intense orientals.
