From OBART comes Vanille Magnétique, an Oriental Vanilla scent for women and men introduced in 2026. Perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie shapes vanilla as something enveloping and shared, rather than overtly sweet.
Cocoa, Madagascar vanilla and praline open the composition, leading to myrrh, tonka bean and vanilla at its centre. White musk, Atlas cedar and sandalwood then form a soft, woody and musky base with a powdery touch.
At first spray the impression is gently gourmand. Cocoa offers a roasted richness, Madagascar vanilla a luminous creaminess, and praline a hazelnut-like mellowness that takes any sharpness away.
Through the middle, tonka bean deepens the vanilla with almond and balsam tones, while myrrh contributes warm resin with the lightest smokiness. It is here that the amber, balsamic warmth of the fragrance comes most clearly through.
The foundation keeps matters composed. Atlas cedar lends a dry, tailored line, sandalwood a smooth creaminess, and white musk a clean, powdery softness. The trail feels woody and aromatic, not heavy.
