Yes, Lush, I know you’re one of my favourites and I always skip over you, but this Imogen Rose is a nightmare. If a migraine had a scent, it would be this. I tried it one winter day while browsing the new arrivals. The assistant explained the notes and I applied it to my wrist; unluckily, the spray soaked through my clothes. What a fright, what an invasion of the nostrils, a plaster of dusty, sour roses. The talc was a direct punch to the brain. It gave me a slight headache and the clothes went straight to the wash. This Imogen is unnaturally synthetic, pure landfill rose. I’m sorry, but I can’t do this with you.
