  1. I’m absolutely delighted that I was able to smell it before buying it blind. On my skin, it smells like soap. It doesn’t smell of cognac or blackberries, nor of incense or roses. I was so eager for it to live up to its promises. I went to smell it on two different days. Now I can confidently rule it out and leave a reliable personal recommendation.

  2. I bought Evening Rose blind after reading reviews and watching videos. Some said it wasn’t for them, but based on the description and notes, I thought ‘this one is for me’ and took the risk, as it’s not cheap, and I hit the jackpot at 110%. I’m so smitten that I feel I’m doing it no justice by talking about it. I don’t know where to start… Let’s talk about the scent: it’s one of the best roses I’ve tried. It’s not that typical sweet, artificial designer rose, but a deep, dark and sexy rose. I never thought a rose could be so sexy; my concept was ‘pretty, sweet and sexy’. This is a very spicy, piquant rose with a background of incense, but no church-like smell, just perfectly blended incense. Wearing it makes me feel sexy and elegant, like an important businesswoman heading out for a drink. Obviously, you need to like this type of aroma; it’s not an ‘easy-to-wear’ rose for everyone, it’s for when you want something more challenging, that makes you feel special and important. Its performance didn’t disappoint either: projection is moderate to strong and it lasts 6 to 8 hours on skin; if it lands on clothes, it sticks to the fabric for days. I wouldn’t encourage buying blind as I did, but if you’re drawn to a spicy, piquant rose and have the opportunity, try it in person.

  3. Evening Rose was a blind buy after reading numerous reviews and watching videos. Some said it wasn’t for the reviewer, but based on the description and notes, I thought ‘this is for me’ and took the risk, as it’s not cheap, and it turned out to be a 110% success. I’m so in love that I feel I’m not doing it justice in my words. It is one of the best roses I’ve tried: deep, dark, and sexy, nothing like that sweet, artificial rose from designer perfumes. It has a spicy touch and a well-blended incense, with no church-like smell. I feel elegant and classy, like an important woman out for a drink. It’s not an easy rose for everyone; it’s for when you want something challenging and to feel special. The longevity is 6 to 8 hours, projection is moderate to strong, and it lasts for days on clothes. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind, but if you’re attracted to a spicy rose, try it in person.

  4. My new love🌹. I tried to win over Hibiscus Palm, the summer sibling, but I’m not a fan of summer perfumes and barely use 5% in the heat. I tried Hibiscus about 10 times and it failed to conquer me… until I saw reviews for Evening Rose and went to try it. Total love!!! What a rose, gentlemen. It is a gourmand rose, yes, it provokes eating the person wearing it. It is a burgundy rose, mature, perfect, preserved in cognac with blackberry jam that makes you drool. A fine incense accompanies it, smoking until the coldest heart. It comes to beautify my autumn, where it will shine in its full splendour. 8 hours on skin, excellent projection for the first 3 hours, then moderate but noticeable. A full 10… bravo👏👏👏

A mature red rose, very natural, like roses in a vase with water, just before they start to dry. Good longevity. It is similar to others like Rose Flash by Tauerville, but the one by Aerin is more versatile or less intense.

  6. The only one I found interesting of what I’ve tried from Aerin. It reminds me of a sibling fragrance from the same house, Amber Mystique, smelling of the typical (well-executed) rose oud combo. But I stick with Amber Mystique.

What a beautiful perfume. It is expensive, but I believe it is worth it. It is a rose fragrance that sets a trend, a lovely spicy rose surrounded by incense, with touches of pepper and amber. The fragrance stays in motion; you don’t know when a note will stand out, although the two most intense are the rose and the cognac. I can’t perceive the blackberry. It encloses glamour, a chic, elegant, and timeless air. It can be worn at any time and place; you give it the special touch and dress it according to the occasion. This perfume doesn’t make you, you make the perfume. Good sillage and longevity. For those who love roses (it’s not a fresh rose) and oriental perfumes, it is a good option. Rating 9/10.

This perfume was a pleasant surprise: a floral opening, a slightly sweet spicy rose at first, then the incense turns it into a smoky, dark rose. As it dries, the amber emerges, and when combined with the incense, it gives it a very mystical touch… I definitely loved it. Longevity is average, around 4 hours, projecting well initially and finally only close to the skin.

What a stunning perfume! Yes, it is pricey, but believe me, it’s worth every penny. It’s a trend-setting rose scent: a beautiful, spicy rose wrapped in incense with hints of pepper and amber. The fragrance evolves; you never know which note will take the lead, though the rose and cognac are undoubtedly the most intense. I couldn’t quite detect the blackberry. It radiates glamour, chic air, elegance and timelessness. It can be worn anywhere; it’s up to you to add that special touch and dress the occasion accordingly; this perfume doesn’t make you, you make the perfume. Great trail and longevity. Ideal for those who love roses (it’s not a fresh rose) and oriental scents. Rating 9/10.

This is a wonder!!! One of the best rose fragrances I have ever tried in my life. On Fragrantica, someone describes it as ‘a velvety red rose’ and they could not be more right. It is creamy, mysterious, and delicate at the same time. The cognac gives it a slight vintage air and is very pleasant. I expected a fresher, greener rose from the bottle, but discovering the opposite was a pleasant surprise. I recommend it 100%.
