Eclat d’Arpege opens with fresh green tea and floral notes, leading into lilac, peony, and the citrusy touch of petit grain. It also smells of jasmine (I think osmanthus). The base is amber and musky, with a very soft cedar. It’s a fresh, green, and cheerful fragrance. Courtesy of @jerry drake.

  2. Pure class and elegance. A scent that doesn’t overpower, with a super-balanced blend of notes that together sound like something new and delicious. Although it seems subtle, it’s very persistent and never quite fades away. How beautiful.

  3. Romantic and spring-like; the lilac and wisteria give it that special touch. It reminds me of the gardens at the Prado here in Montevideo. My mother would have loved it. Note: don’t wear it in temperatures above 25 degrees.

  4. Rich, fresh, floral, and youthful… but it didn’t leave an unforgettable impression on me. Still, good longevity though not much sillage. Ideal for summer and for those who prefer to go comfortably.

Incredible fragrance! I gave it to my mother years ago and she adored it, as did I. Excellent sillage all day long, fresh, semi-sweet, elegant, sophisticated, and unmatched.
