Fresh floral, sweet but easy to wear, nothing cloying. Soft and subtle, yet with incredible longevity. It doesn’t project much, but I wore it at 6:30 am for work and at 8:00 pm it still smelled perfect on my wrist. White flowers dominate, but the tiare adds a tropical touch, like a self-tanning lotion, and the hibiscus gives a hint of red berries. Ideal for work and daily routine. Scent: 9, Longevity: 10, Sillage: 5, Versatility: 9, Originality: 9, Overall: 9.
It’s floral with a tropical sweetness and a citrus touch that lightens it up. At first, it reminds me of Chanel’s Gabrielle. What I notice most is the tiare and neroli. Half an hour in, the musk and vanilla round off the fragrance. On my skin, it has moderate sillage and lasts over 10 hours. Although it’s compared to Maison Margiela’s Beach Walk, this one lacks the persistent citrus note and has salty nuances the other doesn’t. Bon Parfumeur is more versatile; Beach Walk is just for summer. I prefer this one; it’s pretty and good quality. Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Value for money 8/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t bought it yet.
At first, it didn’t grab me; the opening smells like a bug sprayer and those floral notes, very similar to lily of the valley, are sharp and a bit harsh. But when combined with the tiare, that heavy flower that smells like sun cream, everything opens up and becomes balanced. It evokes an open cavern, sunk into the earth but with the sky visible. If there were more green, the fairytale image would be complete; as it is, with just flowers, it feels a bit plain, like background music.
