I tried it today in a perfumery. I love citrus, so I was curious. It’s not a bad fragrance; it has a substantial citrus note, long-lasting, with a savoury lemon aroma and a firm citrus character. On me, it also highlights a faint orange blossom scent, feminine and pleasant. It’s not easy to make a citrus fragrance; harmonising a cologne requires talent and experience. I relate it to Dior Homme Cologne 2013, with the latter being more modern. The Loewe one has a more classic touch. There’s no doubt it will appeal to lovers of citrus and fresh, wearable, and non-offensive fragrances. Suitable for daily wear and all ages. A safe bet from Loewe. They didn’t want to take risks (well, only in the bottle colour, which I like, a fun fluorescent yellow).
I used it many years ago and based on the reviews, I think it has nothing to do with the original. I couldn’t develop its components, but it was delicate, subtle, and elegant. I saw it on finely dressed women aged 25 to 35, shopping at El Corte Inglés or in upmarket areas. I liked it.
I wouldn’t buy it again because I’m looking for new fragrances and none that I’ve already used.
Floral and very citrusy, with lemon predominating. I have Loewe Coral and to me they smell identical.
THE LIME-LIMONADE COOLER IN SUMMER: Aire de Fantasía is like that lime-lemonade cooler that refreshes you on the beach on a scorching summer day: appetising, vibrant, and absolutely refreshing. If you’re not a fan of citrus, better abstain, because this composition is built on luminous and sparkling citrus notes, but it doesn’t stop at simplicity. A delicate background of white flowers adds a perfect balance, a soft embrace that makes the blend addictive and elegant. I see it as closer to summer, that season where fresh scents usually fade quickly, but here its projection and longevity are surprisingly notable. Unisex and ageless, it’s for those seeking freshness with a sophisticated touch. Regarding the new design, I’ve read divided opinions, but for me, Loewe’s new bottles are a total success. Their minimalist, almost Bauhaus aesthetic, with clean lines, evokes the subtle luxury of niche perfumery. The boxes, with botanical images that look like contemporary sculptures, are visual treasures. And let’s not forget that, although Loewe is part of LVMH, everything is still Made in Spain, another reason to value our local gem.
The LOEWE cologne smells fresh and cosy with that balanced citrus orange note evoking green notes reminiscent of petit grain from childhood colognes. It’s familiar and tender; although it has better longevity than the splash versions it’s ideal for a pregnant woman or simply brings that summer freshness and joy we seek. It’s a beloved ‘evergreen’ scent from the house but the price is a drawback; it’s contradictory that such lovely formulas which we once used liberally in the splash are now used sparingly because they cost a fortune. Anyway Aire Fantasía is like Dior’s Mar de Coral or Portofino classic fresh beauties that are always welcome.
The Loewe cologne. Fresh, welcoming, and rich with its balanced orange citrus part mixed with green notes reminiscent of petit grain in children’s colognes. It’s familiar and tender, with the advantage of having slightly better fixation than splash colognes. I see it as ideal for a pregnant woman, or simply another option to add freshness and joy in summer. A grateful “always there” scent from the house, which has the disadvantage of the price. It feels contradictory that such beautiful formulas we used to use in litres as splashes now have to be used drop by drop because they cost a fortune. Anyway, Aire Fantasía is like Mar de Coral or Dior’s Portofino, classic fresh beauties that are always welcome.
A friend uses it a lot and always reminds me of primary school, something a teacher would wear. To me, it’s not a discreet citrus or a shy, luminous floral like those from the south; this is green and fresh. I find it more interesting than Escale, which is more crystalline, and it’s quite amusing. It doesn’t smell like the creamy neroli of 4711, perhaps a bit like that hygienic cologne from before the pandemic. On my skin, it has little floral weight: a nice pomelo-ised neroli with a touch of mesocarp, woody notes, and another hefty green note like grass in a cold cloud that softens the nuances. That antipathy it emanates is actually robustness; if it weren’t so weak, it would be more interesting. It’s cold, bitter, without sweetness or strong acidic citrus notes after the opening. It seems like a grumpy cologne that makes you want to hug it. It’s not fantasy; a name for a silly flanker that looks back at the 90s and doesn’t want to be classic. If you don’t know its date, you can’t place it temporally. The performance isn’t bad compared to others in the family. Without adding anything, it amuses me. Recommended to try if you like floral pomelo tones and almost non-fruity ones.
I know it because someone in my circle uses it in abundance and has lent it to me several times; it always reminds me in spades of primary school of something a teacher might have worn or something. To me this isn’t a discreet refreshing smiling citrus nor a slightly pollinated fine citrus-floral nor one of those ‘South of Spain’ types that are all light. This is green and fresh. I find it more interesting than Escale which is more crystalline and classic and it amuses me. It doesn’t smell like the cheerful creamy neroli of 4711 perhaps a bit like that DH hygienic cologne from the pandemic. On my skin it has little floral weight. It’s a small pomeloised neroli quite nice with a touch of mesocarp a woody note and a thick green note like grass in a cold vaporous cloud to reduce the harshness of the nuances and make this less unpleasant. That certain unlikability it emits is actually robustness and if it didn’t fade halfway it would offer more versatility. It’s cold quite bitter without sweetness and with few acidic citrus notes once past the opening. It seems a bit grumpy and you feel like hugging it to make it see reason. It’s not a fantasy at all a silly flanker name. It seems to look back to the 90s unwilling to be a wholly classic cologne. If I didn’t know its launch date I wouldn’t know where to place it temporally. The performance isn’t bad compared to others in the family and of similar cut. Without adding anything it just amuses me. Recommended for those who like floral pomelo tones and the almost total absence of fruity notes.
Citrusy musk scent that evaporates in a breath; after a few minutes, only a trace of neroli remains. Ideal for summer like most colognes, but nothing surprising about it; it could smell like a child’s. Loewe Agua y Mar de Coral are more interesting options in terms of notes, though they also don’t last long. It left me indifferent.
