It’s a delight in terms of scent, super elegant citrus. The problem is that from the moment you apply it, you can tell its longevity will be brief… A fragrance for summer and climates that are hot to very hot, where anything else might feel overwhelming.
Another great fragrance that seems set to be discontinued, at least here in Spain. It’s the softer version of the 001 line, unisex. Compared to the 001 EDT Man, it’s made for hotter days. It’s not vastly different, but it’s less dense, a touch more citrusy and less sweet towards the end. It uses iris instead of cinnamon, which suits it wonderfully and smells cleaner, though less warm. Although it doesn’t last as long as the EDT, be aware, it still manages six or seven hours with medium projection, which is excellent for something so fresh. Same accords as the 001 EDT Man but far more desirable for summer. Same fundamentals: clean, austere, original, quality scent with good performance. It has nothing to do with Dior Homme Cologne; it resembles its sisters in the 001 line. If you push it, it sits somewhere between a Livre Blanc by Zara or a Musk by Alyssa Ashle, but with more quality and presence. Or like a Loewe Agua but without the white floral and with more musk. If you can find it cheap and are a fan of the 001 line, go for it. The 001 EDT and EDP are neutral/clean perfumes with excellent musk, elegant and high quality, ideal for autumn and winter, but in hot summer they can be suffocating. This Cologne fills that gap, offering that style but softer and more almondy, perfect for rotating in the heat. Don’t go crazy; broadly speaking, the aroma is very similar to the 001 EDT Man, so smelling this gives you a good idea. Looking hard, it can still be found at a good price in Spain… Salu2.

What a pity it’s almost impossible to get hold of… I find it more versatile than the 001 Man EDT. Although it starts super citrusy, once it settles, the DNA of the Man EDT emerges, which is why I see it as more masculine.
