  What I feel: When trying Ambra Senatus, it’s like walking among pines with the air heavy with freshly fallen pine nuts and a gentle sweetness that envelops everything. It feels clean, natural, and serene. What a gem of a perfume. The juniper and cedar create an atmosphere of a forest after rain: damp, fresh with that touch of wet earth, mixed with a sweet warmth of vanilla. An incredible combination. At twelve minutes, a very subtle hint of cinnamon emerges, barely perceptible, yet adding a soft, balanced warmth. After an hour and ten, the cinnamon almost disappears and the juniper and cedar take the lead, revealing that damp wood softened by a sweetness akin to sugar. At three hours, it evolves into a sweet wood, with the juniper lingering in the background like a distant echo among the trees. The projection and trail are moderate, ideal for something balanced, elegant, and serene that doesn’t shout but accompanies with discretion. At four hours, the projection and trail drop significantly, becoming more intimate, like the scent of a dry, warm pine cone. After nine and a half hours, it’s barely noticeable on the skin, leaving a very light trace, a soft memory of that initial harmony. In summary, Ambra Senatus by Alius Odorem is a tribute to the forest, to wood, and to the calm that exists between the trees after a rain. It starts with force, settles with time, and ends by whispering a sweet, natural memory.
