Descripción

Aquarium by Darkbeat Parfums is a fragrance from the olfactive family for men and women. Launched in 2021, this composition is signed by perfumer José M. Giraldo. In its top notes, grapefruit, eucalyptus, mint, juniper and pine provide a fresh and vibrant opening. The heart of the fragrance reveals a marine harmony with sea water, angelica, lavender and geranium. To finish, the base notes unfold a warm and enveloping sequence of musk, cashmere, amber, raspberry and guaiac wood.

  • Green Nico

Aquarium, the second scent from Darkbeat Parfums that I’ve tried. Olfactorily, I’d classify it as aquatic-aromatic or herbal. The opening is powerful; that rich, mentholated blend of eucalyptus, mint, juniper and pine evokes a walk under the coolness of a forest on a hot summer day. It reminds me of rosemary even though it doesn’t carry it. Gradually, the initial power gives way to lavender, which in the dry down slowly becomes sweet and very pleasant, perhaps due to the raspberry and musk. After that intense opening, I’ve loved its evolution, as lavender is my favourite note. I atomised it on my hand 4 hours and 30 minutes ago and it still projects a delicious scent. Another great job by José Manuel 👏👏👏

The opening is powerful: eucalyptus, mint, juniper and pine transport you to a fresh walk under the forest in the middle of summer, with a hint of rosemary even if it’s not there. Despite the initial intensity, I love its evolution; lavender is my favourite note. I atomised it on my hand four and a half hours ago and it still projects well. • One of the first Darkbeat scents I’ve tried and I liked it. It feels like a typical fragrance made to please everyone without sounding like a trick. It opens citrusy, green and luminous, with a very natural and refreshing green that revitalises. As it dries, it becomes more aromatic, supported by lavender, sweet notes and a resinous touch. I need to test it more. In terms of performance, it lasts well; on skin it doesn’t last as long and the trail is poor, but on clothes it’s a treat. After showering at lunchtime and reapplying it, the scent returns. Edit: at 10/11 hours on clothes it’s still noticeable. For summer or semi-warm days, it’s brilliant.

  • It opens with super fresh mint, lots of pine and juniper, plus a touch of sea water and sweet grapefruit. As it dries, the mint remains, very elegant, almost reminiscent of Acqua di Sale.
