Excellent fragrance from perfumer José María Giraldo of DarkBeat Parfums. For those who are passionate about ecclesiastical and elegant aromas, here is his fragrance. No need to go for D&G Velvet Incenso, Bois d’Encens by Armani Privé, or La Liturgie des Heures by Jovoy Paris… in this bottle you’ll have everything inside and much cheaper. I know that Comme des Garcons Series 3 Incense: Avignon, Cardinal by Heeley, and LAVS by Filippo Sorcinelli are possibly more photorealistic ecclesiastical aromas, but very few people will like leaving home smelling of pure church and so to speak, even so, this Aura Sacra captures part of the essence of ecclesiastical incense without becoming photorealistic, cloying, nor being the ceremony priest either.
