Right now, this is the one from Darkbeat that doesn’t quite suit me; I’ve tried several and I’m not saying I dislike it, just that I can’t see myself wearing it. It’s green and sweet, full of nuances, but simply not my style. Perhaps after trying some of their absolute masterpieces, I’ve raised the bar, but well, I’ll keep trying other things.
It seemed like a normal, linear fragrance judging by the notes and structure, but it is nothing like that. It opens green, fruity, sweet and pleasant. After a few minutes, the raspberry emerges, then the green notes return with more intensity, the raspberry lingers and white flowers join in. Very complex is its apparent simplicity; a great job with an excellent result.
At first sniff, it smells like bubblegum shampoo; it doesn’t grab me at all… not my favourite from the house for now.
Another new release from Darkbeat Parfums that I tried thanks to José Manuel’s kindness. The opening is rich, an explosion of sensations. You can detect the mandarin with its fruity sweetness and the green leaves that impart freshness and lightness. As it dries down, it gains a floral touch without losing that initial sweetness. On my skin, it lasted around seven hours. A unisex perfume, classy, delicate, and very elegant.

It smells rich, fresh and green, like herbs with something fruity and a citrus touch. It’s unisex, a non-massive aroma, niche type. Highly recommended. Congratulations to Darkbeat for this contribution to the sensory world.
I’m still testing Darkbeat’s creations and this one has won my heart. Perhaps it’s my favourite so far, mind you I have many left. It has the particularity of being green, which I adore, but they usually tend to be drier; here there is a very original sweetness and a marine touch that makes it personal. In terms of creativity, the combination of notes is very interesting. It’s perfect for summer, but above all it screams spring. In the opening I notice the mandarin, though very briefly. Then the fruity sweetness of red berries appears, balancing the smell of freshly cut grass. The marine aspect adds a subtle salty counterpoint. As it progresses, vanilla and a slight moss become noticeable. It’s very unisex, balanced, refreshing yet sweet. I love fresh green fragrances over citrus ones, and this also has sweet and salty nuances. Its trail is moderate and lasts about 6 hours on my skin. Scent 8.5/10. Longevity 7/10. Trail 7/10. Versatility 7/10.
I’m still testing Darkbeat’s jewels and this one has won me over. Perhaps it’s my favourite so far for its originality, though I have many more to discover. It’s a green scent that I adore, although they usually tend to be dry; here there is a unique sweetness and a marine touch that make it very own. First try of our mutual friend Darkbeat’s set. Unisex, balanced, creamy, and floral. I had Kouros on for six hours, and this perfume overpowered it, and Kouros is no small feat. Very satisfied and eager to try the rest of the set. I’ve set myself a challenge to wear a potent fragrance first thing in the morning and see how the Darkbeat scents hold up. Also, of course, to try them from scratch. Highly recommended.
I’m not usually a fan of green perfumes, so I left Verdial for the end of the Discovery Set, thinking it wouldn’t suit me. It caught me by surprise, very well. It’s a balanced and lovely scent: green, natural and creamy, like moisturising creams but with more punch. Gradually the fruits emerge, giving it a sweet and fresh touch that makes it unique and totally unisex in my opinion. The dry down is more balsamic, which gives it more intensity and longevity. Scent: 8.5. Longevity: 8. Sillage: 6. Versatility: 8. Originality: 9. Overall: 8.
The first from the Darkbeat pack, our usual friend. Unisex, balanced, creamy and floral. I’ve worn Kouros for six hours and this has surpassed it, and Kouros is no small feat. Very happy and eager to try the rest of the set. I challenge myself to apply a potent perfume early in the morning and see how the Darkbeat ones develop. Also, of course, from scratch. Highly recommended.
I’m not a huge fan of green scents, so I left Verdial for last in the Discovery Set, thinking I wouldn’t like it. I was hugely surprised. It’s a balanced, beautiful aroma—green, natural, and creamy, like some moisturising creams but with more intensity. Gradually, the fruits emerge, giving it a sweet and fresh character that makes it unique and totally unisex. The dry down is more balsamic, which increases intensity and prolongs longevity. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Versatility: 8, Originality: 9, Overall: 8.
Although the pyramid says it’s fruity and the top notes are, I’d say it’s very green and you can already tell the marine aspect in a few minutes. But it’s not like the usual ‘fresh’ perfumes; it’s much better, more nuanced. I can’t stop smelling it. The greenness is real, like the smell left on your hands after touching plants (perhaps jasmine). I love it because I can’t find this anywhere in mid-range perfumery. Totally unisex.
Although the pyramid suggests fruity and the opening seems so, it actually smells very green, and after a few minutes, the sea becomes noticeable. Yet it’s not that usual freshness; it’s far superior, more nuanced. I can’t stop smelling it. The greenery is real, like the scent left on your hands after touching plants, perhaps honeysuckle. I love it because, at this price point, I can’t find anything like it. Totally unisex.
