Honestly, it smells different. It starts with an explosion of orange and white flowers; together with the aldehydes, it seems clean and with a signature touch. But little by little, it turns into something more resinous and mossy. From the clean to the deep, everything is beautifully assembled. I love it. However, for my daily wear, I find it a bit unsuitable; it’s more of a delightful olfactory experience, perfect for spring and autumn. I’m not sure exactly where to place it. I finished the decant at home. It performs well with moderate projection. Another well-judged proposal from Darkbeat.

Thanks to José Manuel, I tried Verhum by Darkbeat. Citrusy and fresh opening, very pleasant. After about 15 minutes, the citrus notes fade and a sweet, floral, and slightly woody aroma appears, intensifying with amber to give it a warm and oriental touch. On my skin, it lasted 8 hours. Totally unisex.
Verhum by Darkbeat Parfums, thanks to the kindness of José Manuel. Citrusy and fresh opening, very pleasant. After about 15 minutes, the citrus fades, giving way to a sweet, floral, and slightly woody note that intensifies with amber, adding a light warmth and an oriental touch. On my skin, it lasted 8 hours. A totally unisex fragrance.
This fragrance transports me to orange groves where I spent springs and summers. I close my eyes and see myself walking among the trees, smelling flowers, fruit, branches, and that special atmosphere of sunny mornings. After the opening, which realistically portrays that idyllic field, it is accompanied by a touch of oakmoss that gives it character. Only at the end does it sweeten with labdanum and amber. Due to its fixative qualities and personality, it’s not a typical citrus; it can dress us for hours in many situations. It’s unisex. Moderate sillage, 8 hours on skin. Verhum (in Latin ‘word of’) is a beautiful, very Mediterranean scent, perfect for spring or summer days. It’s the first Darkbeat I’ve tried, and it exudes skill and care. I’m eager to explore more of their creations. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for money: -/10, Versatility: 7/10, Packaging: -/10. Would I buy again? No, I didn’t purchase it.
Darkbeat presents something interesting: it has a vintage air, like those old florals, with neroli and orange blossom. But it’s also very fresh, loaded with citrus, especially orange. As Taurien says, it’s a journey to Mediterranean orange groves: flowers, leaves, and fruit. Additionally, it has an aldehydic touch that makes it soapy and airy, recalling orange blossom gels. The base is woody and balsamic, with excellent performance that contrasts with the opening. Scent: 9, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 7, Versatility: 8, Originality: 7, Overall: 8.5
A very interesting perfume from our colleague Darkbeat. It has a vintage feel, reminiscent of old florals, with a floral base of neroli and orange blossom. On the other hand, it’s quite fresh, with a strong citrus focus centred on orange. As Taurien says, I agree: it revolves around this note, becoming an experience in itself, a journey through Mediterranean orange groves. The perfume contains all parts of the tree: flowers (neroli and orange blossom), leaves (petit grain) and fruit (orange). Additionally, it has an aldehydic note that gives it a soapy, airy character, sometimes recalling neroli and orange blossom gels. The base is woody and balsamic, which makes the performance very good and contrasts with the rest. Scent: 9, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 7, Versatility: 8, Originality: 7, Overall: 8.5.
It takes me to those orange groves of spring and summer. I close my eyes and feel walking among flowers, fruit, and branches under the sun. After that super-realistic citrus opening, a touch of oakmoss enters to give it character. Finally, the labdanum and amber sweeten it. It lasts a long time and has personality; it’s not a typical citrus but holds up for hours and suits everything. Unisex. Moderate sillage, lasts about 8 hours. Verhum (which I believe means ‘word of’ in Latin) is a lovely, very Mediterranean aroma, ideal for springs and summers. It’s my first Darkbeat and it exudes skill and care. Scent: 8/10, Longevity: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for money: -/10, Versatility: 7/10, Packaging: -/10. Would I buy again? No, I didn’t purchase it.
