Tried a sample and it hooked me immediately. What strikes me most is that vanilla sweetness blended with ambergris and benzoin, which clashes brilliantly with the citrus notes. The drydown smells like a classic cologne, reminiscent of Aqua di Parma or the tail end of Aventus, mixed with that distinct plastic doll scent. It’s a vanilla fragrance but different—neither cloying nor overpowering, and very discreet. Ideal for fresh days or evening wear. The scent quality is top-notch. I’m testing a sample that arrived and the truth is, I love it. What I feel most is the sweet tone of the vanilla, ambergris, and benzoin, which contrasts with some citrus touches that give it a very special point. The base reminds me a bit of classic colognes, like Aqua di Parma, or even the base of Aventus, mixed with a scent that smells very much like plastic dolls. It’s a vanilla-scented perfume but different, not excessively sweet and quite discreet. I see it as ideal for moderate or cool weather, and perhaps better for evening than daytime use. The scent quality is outstanding. Scent: 10, Longevity: 8, Sillage: 6, Value for money: 5, Versatility: 7, Originality: 7, Overall: 9.

  • I bought it over a year ago blind, super excited to have my first niche vanilla and how rich it is 😍. It’s a vanilla dessert with citrus on top, but very well accompanied by iris, ambergris, and musk. It’s an extrait de parfum, and in my case, I let it macerate a bit and it improved; now it’s one of my best perfumes in terms of performance (and scent). If you’re a lover of vanilla, sweet but elegant, more formal and well-crafted, you must try it. Highly praised, they say I smell like I’m about to eat it 😁. Will I repurchase? Definitely ❤️.

  • I picked this up over a year ago blind; I was super excited about my first niche vanilla and it is so delicious 😍. It’s like a vanilla dessert with citrus, beautifully accompanied by iris, ambergris, and musk. 😍😍 I absolutely love it. It’s an extrait and, in my case, letting it macerate a bit improved it; now it’s one of the best for performance and scent. If you like sweet but elegant, more formal, and well-made vanilla, give it a try. They say I smell like food 😁😁. Will I repurchase? Without a doubt ❤️

  • Aura Sublime is enchanting from the first sniff. It’s a composition based on vanilla and citrus, minimally accompanied by cinnamon notes and a subtle touch of iris via the ionones, which rounds off and shapes the whole. A clear example that sometimes less is more. These notes, pleasant in themselves, harmonise perfectly to create a close, warm, and cosy scent. It can remind one quite a bit of Musc Ravageur, both drawing from the influence of Shalimar. However, the greater citrus load and lower quantity of cinnamon and spicy components make this proposal feel more youthful and carefree. Although it’s unisex and I enjoy it on my skin, I believe its delicacy and high vanilla content may appeal more to a female audience. It’s a fragrance worth knowing because it truly manages to create that sublime aura.

  • Aura Sublime is charming from the first sniff. Based on vanilla and citrus, with a minimal touch of cinnamon and a subtle iris from the ionones that rounds everything off. A perfect example of how sometimes less is more. These notes, very pleasant in their own right, harmonise to create something intimate, warm, and cosy. It can remind you quite a bit of Musc Ravageur, drinking from Shalimar. However, the greater citrus load and fewer spices make it more youthful and carefree. Although unisex, due to its delicacy and abundance of vanilla, I believe it leans more towards the feminine. It’s worth knowing, as it creates that sublime aura. Greetings!

  • Aura Sublime has a sweet citrus opening that quickly transitions into a powdery vanilla, without any sharp edges or animalic notes to my nose, despite the musk and ambergris base. I love how it makes me feel: it’s like a delicate, comforting embrace. It seems a bit more feminine, but within the realm of unisex. It’s very versatile, not overwhelming, and suits many situations. It has moderate sillage and lasts around 8 hours. Curiously, it gives me a mild allergy occasionally (redness in certain spots, not always, and randomly), yet I still use it from time to time and am currently using a decant. That’s how pleasant it is. For that reason, I won’t commit to a full bottle, especially not at that price. • Aura Sublime opens with a sweet citrus note that soon yields to a fairly powdery vanilla, with no sharp edges or animalic notes to my nose, despite the musk and ambergris base. I love how it makes me feel: a delicate, comforting embrace. It seems slightly more feminine, but within the unisex realm. It’s very versatile because it’s not overwhelming and fits many situations. It has moderate sillage and lasts about 8 hours on my skin. Curiously, it gives me a mild allergy occasionally (redness in certain spots, not always, and randomly), yet I still use it occasionally and am spending on a second decant. It’s just that pleasant. • Recipe: 70% Ani + 20% Vanille Orchidee + 10% Shalimar + grated lemon = Aura Sublime. Pros: Rich, winterly ambered citrus, enveloping, addictive, sweet without being cloying, featuring an adult vanilla slightly balsamic at the start (hence the Nishane recall) but without spices or ginger. It’s clear it’s made perfectly. It’s not spicy, but huggable and tender. Exceptional quality. Fine and elegant, suitable for any season, person, or setting; a manual allrounder. Unisex. The tonka is similar to Van Cleef’s, perhaps with less sugar and more vanilla and a chocolatey aspect. It also recalls Lira, but isn’t as sweet nor has the lavender freshness. It’s not intrusive; I can’t imagine anyone being bothered by it. Cons: If you have Ani and don’t want to spend much on this profile, it’s redundant. Although I’m selling advice, I have it all 😃. It’s not very potent (I didn’t let it macerate, we’ll see) and if it were, I’d edit the review in two months. It smells like classic toilet soap or Shalimar and has an anise opening that dissipates quickly. I don’t like anise. It’s very expensive for its performance (€130/30 ml.). Although Ani’s longevity is also poor (2021 batch), I prefer it to AS. Sillage and projection tend to be scarce.

  • Recipe: 70% Ani + 20% Vanille Orchidee + 10% Shalimar + lemon zest = Aura Sublime. What hooks me most is that winter amber-citrus blend; it’s rich and enveloping, sweet but not cloying, with an adult, balsamic vanilla at the start (reminds me of Nishane) yet without the spices or ginger. It feels executed to perfection; it’s not sharp, but rather huggable and tender. The quality is exceptional: fine, elegant, and a proper all-rounder for any season, person, or occasion. The tonka recalls Van Cleef & Arpels, perhaps with less sugar and more vanilla, plus a chocolatey edge. There are also hints of Lira, but it’s not as sweet or lavender-fresh. It’s not intrusive; unlikely to offend anyone. Cons: if you already own Ani and don’t want to spend much on similar profiles, this feels redundant. Although I say this with caution, I have all the advice. It’s not too potent (I haven’t let it macerate yet; will update in a few months). It has a classic powder-soap or Shalimar touch and anise notes that fade quickly; I’m not a fan of anise. It’s very expensive for its performance (€130/30ml). Although Ani’s longevity is also poor (2021 batch), I prefer it to AS. Sillage and projection are currently on the low side.
