I bought it because it’s called the ‘Arab dupe’ of Valentino Coral Fantasy. Well it only resembles it in the opening; as it evolves it smells more like Lattafa’s Honor and Glory (which isn’t bad but it’s not Coral Fantasy) and that’s the scent that lingers. The truth is these Arab perfumes are starting to disappoint me despite the low price. I think in the end it’s preferable to pay four times more for something of quality.

  • Obviously I’m testing every perfume that resembles Valentino BIR Intense which is my favourite and I’m looking for a cheap dupe for daily wear. However this smells completely different and let me down quite a bit. If it resembles anything from the BIR line it’s Coral Fantasy but only a little. They list lavender and coffee in the heart yet they don’t feel like those notes in other perfumes that declare them. The longevity like most Armaf scents is good. Since I didn’t like it I wouldn’t recommend it even blindly. It’s unisex but I feel it leans more towards women’s fragrances.

The one I have is Rome by Bharara and I don’t know why it doesn’t appear here, but it smells incredible.

  • Without a doubt, this is a blind buy. I usually don’t like scents on the first spray, but with this it was the opposite. I loved it from the first blast. After a week of use, I can say it’s very good; it smells of synthetic coffee, though sometimes it gets confused with cigarette smell on clothes. It’s masculine. The longevity is a bit weak, projecting perhaps 2-3 hours, but it lingers on clothes until the next day. For the price, I recommend it.

  • Undoubtedly this is a blind buy. I usually don’t like scents at first spray but with this it was the opposite. I loved it the moment I sprayed it. After using it for a week I can say it’s very good; it smells of synthetic coffee although sometimes it gets confused with a tobacco scent on clothes. It’s masculine. The longevity is a bit weak projecting perhaps 2-3 hours but it lasts on clothes until the next day. Given the price I recommend it.

The packaging is gorgeous, but I was hugely disappointed. It lacks the quality and character of the Bir Intense or Halloween Man X, which are said to be similar. Man X is superior and costs the same with 125ml. If you compare it to Born in Roma Intense, that one is truly beautiful with its three simple notes. The Art du Parfum smells of dry vanilla; it’s not unpleasant, but I can’t see the point. Another one to forget.
