The scent travels from green-spiced freshness towards a heart of rose and resins, settling into amber woods and vanilla.
Bay leaf, pink pepper and bergamot shape the top. The bay brings an aromatic green edge, bergamot keeps it citrus-bright, and pink pepper adds a lively, peppery lift.
The middle brings together leather, rose, incense and myrrh. Here the rose feels velvety rather than fresh, darkened by frankincense-like smoke and the honeyed depth of myrrh over supple leather.
Labdanum, oud wood, cedar, Bourbon vanilla and patchouli form the foundation. Labdanum enriches the amber character, while oud and cedar provide a firm, elegant timber frame.
