  The dry down is decent but it fades to nothing once it dries. It’s a unisex, dry, dark scent, but within its own bounds. It’s not worth the price tag. Of the five I’ve tried from this brand, Jany is the only one worth buying.

  Brocéliande by Sora Dora is a rich, sweet fragrance with a citrus opening. It starts with bergamot and lemon paired with a dense, sweet rum. The dry down is very fresh and energising with those bright citrus notes and a sweet base. Within minutes the citrus fades, leaving a sweet, dense trail of vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. There are musky touches and a hint of spicy ginger. In short, it’s a rich, deep fragrance with a slightly gourmand feel. Longevity is 7 to 9 hours with moderate projection.

  I’ve been wearing this perfume for a month and it’s my favourite of the four SoraDora scents I’ve tried; they all fascinate me, but Brocéliande has me hooked with that dark, sensual touch that is my weakness. I’m wearing it today to express how I feel. It begins citrusy and fresh, reminiscent of plasticine, which isn’t my favourite phase, but after 15 or 20 minutes it moves to my preferred stage: the gourmand with vanilla, melted caramel, cinnamon, ginger and plenty of spiced rum, with super sexy, well-balanced animalic touches of castoreum and civet making it easy to wear. I perceive incense, perhaps due to the cinnamon. It bears no resemblance to Lira on my skin. It has moderate sillage, nothing invasive, with extraordinary longevity, over 12 hours. It is completely unisex, ideal for night dates and cool weather, though I have used it in the heat and still enjoy it, perhaps thanks to the citrus. I do not recommend buying it blind. If you try it on skin, let it develop for at least 30 minutes because it is not linear; it changes. I am happy with this purchase which was NOT a blind buy.

  I’ve been wearing this for a month and it’s definitely my favourite of the four Sora Dora scents I’ve tried; they all fascinate me, but Brocéliande has me hooked with that sensual, dark touch that is my weakness in perfumes. It’s the one I wore today to express how I feel. It has a fresh, citrus opening that reminds me a bit of playdough scent, which isn’t my favourite phase, but after 15 or 20 minutes I stop noticing the lemon and lime and enter my favourite phase: the gourmand with vanilla, melted caramel, cinnamon, ginger and plenty of spiced rum, with super sexy animalic touches of castoreum and civet, but in very balanced amounts so it’s easy to wear. I detect incense, perhaps due to the cinnamon. Compared to others, I have Lira, and they are nothing alike, at least on my skin. It has a moderate trail, nothing invasive, with extraordinary longevity of over 12 hours. It’s totally unisex and seems ideal for night dates and cool weather, though I’ve used it in the heat and still like it, perhaps thanks to the citrus. I don’t recommend buying it blind. If you try it on skin, let it develop for at least 30 minutes because it’s not linear; it changes. I’m happy with this purchase which was NOT blind.

  The scent reminds me exactly of the old Coca-Cola lollipops sold back in the day; if you’re from Mexico, you’ll know them. It feels citrusy from start to finish along with the cinnamon, transitioning to that more distinct cinnamon in the dry down. It’s not challenging at all as the notes suggest; it’s totally unisex and wearable in any season; in summer, I’d recommend it for evening wear. It has excellent projection and longevity; it’s supposed to be an extrait de parfum. The price is quite high for something that reminds me of a childhood sweet. EDIT: With continued wear, I’ve started to love it and it really delivers; longevity is very good, giving me 12 hours on my skin.

  The scent reminds me of old-fashioned Coca-Cola popsicles; if you’re from Mexico, you’ll certainly know them. It feels citrusy from the start with the cinnamon, and as it dries down, the cinnamon becomes the standout note. It’s not as challenging as the notes suggest; it’s totally unisex and suitable for any season; in summer, better for evening wear. Very good projection and longevity, supposedly an extrait de parfum. The price is high for a sweet from my childhood. EDIT: With wear, I liked it even more and it performs brilliantly, lasting 12 hours on me.

  Of the first seven from the brand, Brocéliande is my absolute favourite. That blend of spices with rum, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, lemon and CO2 smells like aged rum in a softwood barrel with a hint of cola refreshment. It works all year round, except in extreme heat. Projection is good and it lasts 8 to 12 hours depending on the skin.

  Among the first seven fragrances from the brand, Brocéliande is my favourite. The combination of spices with rum, ginger, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, lemon and CO2 results in an aroma akin to mixing spiced, aged rum in softwood barrels with a dash of cola. It’s timeless, except in extreme heat. Good projection, lasting 8 to 12 hours depending on skin type.

  I’m completely smitten; it’s irresistible to me. Full bottle! It doesn’t smell like Lira or the other perfumes claiming to be similar; it is far more complex. On my skin, the cinnamon, caramel, ginger and rum really shine. It has a subtle animalic touch that gives it an adult, sensual air, setting it apart from other similar compositions. Nuclear sillage, lasting over 12 hours. Incredible quality and truly unisex.
