  This is my first fragrance from this brand. At first, it smells unusual, with notes of patchouli, amber and oud, almost like a solvent, but then it settles and lets the fruits emerge. You can detect the damson and blackcurrants, sweetened by the amber with a touch of coconut that gives it body. After half an hour, it shines: sweet, fruity, with a perfect blend of rose and jasmine that lightens it up. It’s like a butterfly’s metamorphosis: first the larva, then the chrysalis, and finally a beautiful creature that lifts the spirit. A charming fragrance, unlike anything I’ve smelled before. In the dry down, there’s something woody, perhaps vetiver or oakmoss. To finish, it’s playful, intense and unisex, lasting over twelve hours with a powerful trail for the first two hours before becoming moderate. Very versatile, though not suitable for winter or cold days. Ideal for casual or semi-formal wear. Those aged 28 and above will appreciate it; it recalls the style of Xerjoff’s Commandante but isn’t the same. Scent 4.5/10, Trail 5.5/10, Longevity 5.5/10, Projection 3.5/10
