This little gem arrived today, and yes, it truly is a jewel. It smells of fresh fruit with woody notes. At first, it reminds me slightly of Bal d’Afrique, but only right at the start. What a lovely scent!

What a surprise! This perfume is a powerful olfactory bomb; the oud appears immediately and is initially difficult to handle, being challenging and animalic. Gradually, the musk, amber, and a light touch of incense emerge. After 15 minutes, the oud becomes more gentle and sexy, giving way to an elegant, creamy gardenia with notes of magnolia and saffron. The bergamot adds just a touch of freshness, while the rose and peony are very noticeable in the background. After an hour, it evolves on my skin: I feel it’s unisex, with a slight feminine leaning, woody, lightly floral, and tremendously sexy. I love the power and the changes, which combine brilliantly with my skin, giving me the sensation of being on a Caribbean beach in spring, with bronzed skin and a touch of clean sweat. I wouldn’t recommend buying it blind because it is challenging, but without a doubt, it is a work of art in niche perfumery.
