  • Although it’s cheap, I wouldn’t recommend it; if you’re looking for something modern and appealing that smells of roses, there are better options.

  • What a cutie! At first, it smells of sweet mandarin and juicy pear, but that fades quickly to make way for a blend of tender, powdery pink and peony, mingled with a fresh cherry note that lingers and keeps the fruity touch. The musk and sandalwood base add creaminess and cleanliness, while the vetiver provides depth and a woody green note that makes it unique among florals. It’s a soft, clean, powdery fruity floral, perfect for spring and autumn; in the heat, it smells too powdery, reminding me sometimes of Kenzo’s Flower in the Air or Elizabeth Arden’s True Love, though this one retains a peach note that makes it more suitable for winter. It’s younger, cheerier and more versatile than the original Cabotine, perfect for everyday wear. Very delicate, innocent and feminine, it doesn’t bother anyone nearby. The trail is good and the longevity, while not as long-lasting as the original, is enough to keep up with the day; I’ve worn it for four hours and it’s still going. The bottle is identical to the original, ergonomic, but with the pink liquid and the flower-cap, it looks like a rose with marble veins. Very pretty, I’ll use it daily with the autumn here and already plan to buy more just in case.

  • How lovely! At first, a burst of sweet mandarin and juicy pear that doesn’t last long. Then, a blend of tender, powdery rose and peony playing with a fresh cherry that doesn’t leave and maintains the fruity aspect. The musk and sandalwood bases give creaminess and cleanliness, while the vetiver adds depth and a subtle woody green touch. It’s a soft, clean and powdery fruity floral, perfect for the shoulder seasons, spring and autumn. In heat, it seems too powdery to me; it reminds me of Kenzo’s Flower in the Air and Elizabeth Arden’s True Love, but this one maintains a peach note that makes it more wintry. It’s daily, very wearable and versatile compared to the original Cabotine. Very youthful, cheerful, charming and delicious, as if you wanted to eat it. It’s not too sweet or cloying. It’s perfect for an adolescent heart, delicate, innocent and feminine in every way. It won’t overwhelm or bother those nearby. The trail is good and the duration isn’t as much as the original Cabotine but sufficient to compete and come out on top; on me it’s already been four hours and it’s still going. The bottle is identical to the original, very ergonomic, which is appreciated, but with the pink liquid and the floral stopper resembling a rose with marbled tints. Very pretty and dignified; I’m going to use it daily this autumn which has finally begun, and I’m thinking of stocking up on more units just in case.

I liked it; it smells of very tender and fresh roses. I bought it for myself, which was the only time, and then I bought another for my goddaughter and she loved it.

  • It has the DNA of Cabotine; it’s softer, fresher and very fruity. The white flowers are noticeable but a cherry scent that isn’t listed predominates. It’s a fresh perfume ideal for summer.

  • I like it but I don’t love it. It’s wearable, but it smells too much like everyone else and has a nuance that doesn’t quite call to me. However, it’s not bad, but I won’t repurchase when I finish it.

I love it, it’s delicate and fresh, perfect for mild or warm weather. As its name suggests, to me it smells of roses. It can be worn by both young girls and middle-aged women.

I love it; it’s delicate and fresh, perfect for mild or warm weather. As the name suggests, to me it smells of roses. A fragrance that both young girls and middle-aged women can wear.

  • It’s frustrating how little it lasts. The opening is pleasant but it vanishes very quickly and all the declared notes are a mystery; I don’t know where they are.

  • I agree with Pía: fresh and delicate, suited to mild weather. If you like rose, this is just that, with touches of white flowers reminiscent of the original Cabotine. The musk gives it a soft creaminess. Use it for sport or if you’re going to be moving around a lot, the trail is noticeable. I’ve fallen in love.

  • I bought it blindly because I’m a fan of the classic Cabotine. I liked it, although at first it smells of aldehydes, which gives me a little fright. But its evolution on my skin is out of this world; I love it.

  • Beyond the rose, cherry, blackcurrant and jasmine, I don’t detect other notes, only in the opening. Once dried, it’s just rose. It’s pleasant but very subtle. The only thing that stands out is the atomiser, which is a luxury.

For the price, it’s a bargain. I’ve received a thousand kisses when hugging me, although it doesn’t last long nor project much as it is an EDT. Ideal for gifting to women over 40.

  • Honestly, I hated it. It smells of granny, of synthetic room deodoriser with a rose scent. I’ll give it away. I thought I could get the price-quality right.

  • Honestly, I hated it. It sounds like a grandmother, an air freshener, but of the well-synthetic kind smelling of rose. I’ll be giving it away. I thought I could hit the mark on price-quality 👎

  • I consider it a somewhat bland fragrance. It has a citrus opening that lasts seconds before giving way to the flowers, especially roses and cherry blossom; the problem is that if at least these flowers (which I usually like very much) appeared overwhelming and sparkling it would be an ode to pink and femininity, but unfortunately they feel washed out or watered down. On my skin it lasts about 2-3 hours with a very poor trail. Its value in my country is moderate; there are many more interesting options available for the same price. It’s timeless and pleasant but it doesn’t generate anything interesting for me. A pity because I expected much more from it.

Cabotine Rose is a simple fragrance, not simple. It retains the air of its older sister, Cabotine de Gres. On my skin it stands out as a very soft rose, with sweet fruity touches. It’s a pleasant and clean scent that everyone can like. It conveys innocence, candour and tenderness. Ideal for a girl or a young woman, and a clean, morning scent for a woman. Its longevity is very moderate. Excellent value for money, it doesn’t exceed 10-12 euros. P.S.: Almost a year after writing this review, I must say that its delicacy has ended up conquering me and it results in a very desirable scent to wear at any time.

  • It’s a wonderful EDT, which, even though it’s floral, stands out like a champion in cold seasons. I’m lucky that it lasts more than four hours on my skin, and it’s one of those perfumes that give you a boost of joy!!!!

One of those days when you wake up in a foul mood. Yes, those days where you barely open your eyes and know that hell is other people, as the problems weren’t your fault but you’ll have to solve them and swallow more than a few frogs. You ruminate on the world’s negativity and send that ideal of spiritual perfection, so typical of the hypocrisy of the new millennium, straight to the devil. You walk to work cursing the rain, the pothole in the road, the noise of the cars, the wind, the distances, your clothes, and how narrow the pavement is when you see someone approaching in the distance, and even yielding the way annoys you, but this time it’s different, because not only do they yield, but they do so with a frank, sincere smile and a young girl’s voice, addressing you as ‘you’ while offering you a paper handkerchief to dry the water droplets from your glasses. It happened to me this morning. With the balloon of bad vibes deflated and my armour discarded on the street, next to the rubbish bin, I started thinking about the appropriate fragrance for that moment – for the girl – and Cabotine Rose came to mind. Yes, I know it sounds very weird, nerdy, childish, or whatever, but I tend to do those imagination exercises which, when done well, don’t bother anyone and aren’t worse than walking around glued to the phone. I said the fragrance in question suited the moment, the girl, and my new state of mind. Cabotine Rose isn’t a groundbreaking fragrance nor the quintessence of exquisiteness, but it has nothing to envy anyone. It’s subtle, perhaps a little fleeting, but in no way bad in relation to the price. I quite like the opening with a very short step towards the floral development which, without being invasive, presents itself calmly, simply (not simple as someone already said), and above all cheerful. The rose is perceived but very well nuanced by the white flowers which I’m not able to recognise one by one but it doesn’t seem relevant to me either. Overall it’s youthful and designed for personal delight or intimate moments where tenderness prevails (I think). Obviously, there will be those who know how to use it at any time and place. In short, with apparently little, one can win the favour of life and its setbacks.

  • A very feminine beautiful clean slightly soapy perfume with no pretensions. Here the rose is very lovely. Ideal for everyday wear to feel very clean and fresh.

You walk to work cursing the rain, the pothole on the road, the noise of cars, the wind, the distances, your clothes and how narrow the pavement is when you see someone, to the point where giving way annoys you, but this time it’s different: not only do they give way, but they do so with an open, sincere smile and a young girl’s voice addressing you as ‘you’ while offering you a handkerchief to dry your glasses. Overall, it’s youthful and designed for personal delight or intimate moments where tenderness prevails. Obviously, whoever knows how to wear it can take it anywhere. • A very feminine, pretty, clean and slightly soapy perfume, without pretensions. Here the rose is lovely, ideal for everyday wear to feel very clean and fresh.

  • I’ve noticed that in some perfumes blackcurrant has an ink-like tone; this is the case. Upon opening there’s a strong alcohol presence but after about 20 seconds the fragrance starts to take shape. It remains green with stems and something citrusy and a very subtle rose in the background. As it dries down the rose becomes more noticeable but it’s a rose with stems because it never loses that green citrus tone always accompanied by cherry blossom until the end. I think the only thing that makes me like it is that in the dry down it reminds me of Johnson’s Little Women cologne I used as a child; yes it has that vintage touch but fresh which is why it’s worn without smelling totally old-fashioned. The cherry blossom like in the BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom body mist which smells like a grandmother and part of its short evolution also reminds me of Happy Clinique (which I like) but if you didn’t like that you definitely won’t like Cabotine Rose. I’m not entirely sure about the trail yet but on my skin it lasted over 10 hours which surprised me as it’s an EDT. I wouldn’t wear it at night; it’s for mornings and afternoons. I paid $14 for 50ml so I don’t think it’s a bad purchase. These are first impressions; I believe they can improve; green or citrus perfumes need a couple of months of maceration to reveal their true aroma I’ll update later 🙂

  • Cabotine Rose brings back a vivid memory of my childhood: Shampoochie a pink plush dog you could bathe in its tub with its own bubble bath soap. The shampoo note reminds me of that toy I loved so much even though my real dog eventually ate it. Even the bottle with its little pink plastic cap evokes Barbie toys. Curiously at times I get a smell of white cardstock… but it remains pleasant to me. It’s a special perfume for the nostalgia it awakens.

  • What a beautiful perfume. It feels intimate delicate feminine clean fresh and versatile. Perfect for feeling fresh after a shower for the office all year round but especially spring and summer days. It suits any age: from a girl with innocent flowers to a young office lady or a loving mother/grandmother. It doesn’t leave a striking trail; it’s intimate noticeable only when close or giving a hug ideal for daily wear. I used it when I was young gifted it to my mother years ago and we want to buy it again for the memories; both of us love florals. The price is incredible around $10. The downside is the longevity; it’s not long-lasting but at that price you just reapply and enjoy it without feeling deprived. Recommended for blind buys if you like lovely florals: a young fresh pale-button rose (not a mature red rose almost incense-like) peony a hint of jasmine a touch of pear and a musk base that feels clean like shampoo 🌷😌

  • It’s very pretty. I feel it’s intimate, delicate, feminine, clean, fresh and versatile. I think it serves to feel clean after a shower, for the office, all year round but especially in spring and summer, during the day. It’s for women of any age: from a very young girl for that innocent floral air, to a young office woman in casual relaxed clothing, or an older woman, a loving mother or a tender grandmother. It doesn’t leave a striking trail, it’s more intimate and is only noticed when very close or when giving a hug, certainly it’s for daily use. I used it when I was young, I gifted it to my mother years ago and we want to buy it again for the nice memories; both of us like florals. On the other hand, the price is incredible, about ten dollars. The downside is the longevity, it’s not long, but for that price you can reapply and that’s it, it’s not about depriving yourself of enjoying it. Recommended for blind buys if you like lovely florals: the rose predominates but it’s a young, fresh rose of pale pink buds (not a ripe red rose almost like incense), peony, a touch of jasmine, a little pear and a musk base that gives that clean feeling like shampoo.

Smells like a young sweet floral and is very affordable. It suits an adult or older woman on my skin where rose cherry blossom and peony stand out. It’s fresh and sweet perfect for post-shower use to smell lovely for a while though it doesn’t last long and leaves a soft trail.
