Another fragrance I’ve been hunting for as it’s no longer available. The opening is top-notch: juicy mandarin and blackcurrant notes that quickly yield to a warm, spicy cinnamon. I detect no floral elements at all. The best part is the dry down: a warm vanilla amber with caramelised gourmand touches, yet never cloying. Tonka bean and musk keep it fresh, preventing it from becoming too sweet, leaving behind a delicate amber leather scent. It’s an underrated gem. Soft, sweet and warm, it makes you feel comforted. A youthful oriental gourmand that radiates joy. It looks elegant, paying homage to old-school classics like Mitsouko but in a more fun and relaxed way. Plus, it’s more versatile and affordable. The trail is noticeable and lasts around eight hours on my skin. Perfect for autumn and winter. The bottle is even prettier than online: a heavy square glass flask with a clear plastic cap and a rigid silver ribbon, mimicking luxury bottles. Inside, a precious golden liquid awaits.
