  • Bouquet de Nardos

I adored this fragrance when they offered me to test the lines at Palacio de Hierro in Polanco. Immediately I knew what perfume it reminded me of; obviously, Zara’s Boldly Seoul is more contemporary, but its longevity is superior to that of Dior’s Sakura.

I’ve seen very little of this fragrance, but as soon as I found out it existed, I knew I needed it. It’s clean, floral, and fresh; the rose, violet, and Japanese cherry blossom stand out. Although it’s not a beast in terms of projection, its longevity on skin and clothes is excellent. The quality of the ingredients is extremely high. Recommended for spring/summer daytime, ideal for going out with friends or important events. As of today, it’s no longer common to see it because it seems it’s no longer in the Dior exclusive line, so if you see it, don’t hesitate to buy it or at least try it.

Sakura is a pink and white floral: fresh, light, and sweet. I detect soft jasmine, delicate cherry blossom, and brushstrokes of rose and violet. It has a musky and powdery touch. It transports me to a crystal-clear stream with a spring breeze moving the cherry trees and petals floating on the water with dew, and in the distance, the song of the birds. It’s not complex or unique, but it’s so pleasant and relaxing. It’s very natural, clean, fresh, feminine, and balanced; it reminds me of my lotions because I’m a cherry blossom fanatic. Moderate longevity, low trail (noticeable if they come close but not annoying), ideal for spring and summer.

  • It smells nice, but it barely leaves a trail; you have to put your nose right up to it to notice it. In my opinion, it’s not worth it because it’s extremely expensive and you have to apply a lot of it. I bought it thinking it would smell clean and sensual, but that doesn’t come across. It’s gold-standard pricing for smelling like nothing, so I use others that leave more of a trail.

  • Smells nice, but it barely leaves a trail; you have to press your nose right up to it to detect it. In my opinion, it’s simply not worth it as it’s extremely expensive and you have to apply a lot of it. I bought it expecting a clean, sensual scent, but in reality, it’s imperceptible, so paying gold to smell nothing… well, that’s not it. In fact, I’m using others now because they leave a much better trail.

What a bouquet of flowers! I’ve detected jasmine, rose, cherry blossom, and violet in its evolution. The white notes are the most intense, combined with green aquatic notes that give the sensation of being beside a pond or fountain in the garden. The projection is moderate, but the longevity is long.

  • Sakura is clean, elegant, and romantic; it smells like a bouquet of colourful flowers where the rose, cherry blossom, violet, and mimosa dance together. The blend of violet and mimosa takes over as it dries down. It has a powdery touch, a moderate trail (you need to apply it well), and lasts about 10 hours. When dry, it reminds me of Zara’s Boldly Seoul (also violet and mimosa), but Zara’s is sweeter and coarser. I use a miniature and am considering buying the bottle, although I’m held back by the fact that at this exclusive Dior line price, it looks a bit simple. Scent 7/10, Longevity 10/10, Trail 6.5/10, Value for money 5/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t.

  • I absolutely adore it. At first, it smells of bitter almond mixed with cherry; I must say, the scent captivates me with wear. I like it enormously, though I’m not sure others can detect it. I think I enjoy it all to myself, with little sillage and poor longevity, yet I simply can’t stop using it. It is very expensive for what it is, though. To me, it’s feminine; I don’t find it unisex at all.

  • I absolutely love it. At first, it smells of bitter almond and cherry, which captivates me immediately. However, I suspect only I enjoy it because it has a very faint trail and poor longevity. It’s extremely expensive for what it is, but for me, it’s 100% feminine; nothing unisex about it.
