I wanted it, but at first it smells like plastic air freshener and the top notes are unpleasant, like cheap green lemon. Let it settle and shortly after it becomes a different story: that bright lemon, now effervescent, slightly salty and sexy. Nothing like those disgusting beach-sand salts, but rather a tequila shot with lemon and salt. Fresh, crisp, and citrusy, tasty like a gin when you’re thirsty. It has a spiced, fizzy touch with a barely perceptible white flower that gives a creamy base. The finish is predictable and I love it: cheap 90s white musk, soapy citrus, and perhaps an iso. My kind of cologne. I expected more, but after a disappointing start, it gave me exactly what I needed: musky and citrusy cleanliness for those of us who grew up with Paco Rabanne and CK One. Longevity and projection are average, as they are now (the bottle is very fresh). PS: I’m surprised they label it as feminine; it’s unisex until it leans masculine.
Bought it without a doubt at first whiff. I don’t understand why it’s labelled as feminine; to me, it’s unisex, even leaning more masculine. It’s very similar to Zara’s VL Summer with that bergamot and ginger opening, but with Jo Malone’s superior quality. Ideal for refreshing yourself in the morning or on hot afternoons, though for evening I prefer my CDN Intense, Cool Water Intense, or Mancera Cedrat Boise.
I liked it from the moment I tried it; I was looking for something fresh for summer and found it. I like some of Zara’s offerings because they last and resemble designer scents. As it’s a Jo Malone collaboration, I bought it and I’m very pleased.
I loved it at first sniff, but over time it started sounding very synthetic. Still, I use it to mix with other perfumes.
Same old from Zara; not worth spending the money on.
Same old from Zara, not worth it.
Smells fantastic, clings to the skin almost immediately before releasing waves of scent every now and then.
