  • This has to be the most literal gourmand I own: it smells like Coca-Cola! Perhaps with a citrusy touch. It’s very fun, uncomplicated and refreshing; I don’t know how they managed it, but upon smelling it, you feel the fizz of the soft drink. At first, it’s very sweet, like those bottle-shaped cola gummies, and then a spiced note emerges, I detect cloves. I quite like it. I’ve read that others smell ‘oldschool’ cola. The good thing is it’s cheap; the bad is you can only get it in the USA and its longevity and trail are disappointing.

My companion Cnidaria was right: it smells like Coca-Cola, though I didn’t notice it at first until I read the notes. It seems like a super-sweet perfume, more feminine (I wouldn’t wear it myself), but pleasant, not cloying. What could be sweeter than cola without being pure sugar? The answer is obvious. As for longevity, one would need to wear it for several hours to tell, but I trust Cnidaria’s opinion. Thanks for the sample.
