I’m a woman and I absolutely love this EDT. I’m obsessed with woody scents, especially that wet wood note that gives an incredible sense of cleanliness. Longevity isn’t its strong point, but it’s ideal for blending with other woody fragrances; if you use soft ones, this adds a lot of character. If you’re a woman, give it a try, or gift it to your boyfriend or husband. You might just discover a hidden gem.

To start: my girlfriend, who knows nothing about perfumes, said it smells like the jungle, the forest, and a tree. I showed it to my parents, and my father got nostalgic (a tear even came to his eye) remembering his Dior Fahrenheit from the 90s, the one my mum gave him when they were courting. They both agreed. I went to a shop and saw the Fahrenheit, but there was nothing left; however, I smelled the cap and the atomiser, and they were quite similar. It’s like autumn and early spring in a bottle.

I’m not sure if this is it or something similar, but it was a copaiba natural. From my perspective, it smells like a man in his fifties, with touches of Brazilian-style wood, as if it were an ancient oak grove. In short, I didn’t like it; it’s not a youthful fragrance or one for teenagers, in my view.

I’m not sure if this is it or a similar one, but it was a Natura Copaíba. Well, a summary from my perspective: it smells like a gentleman in his fifties, with notes of wood reminiscent of Brazil, as if it were an ancient oak forest. Well, to sum up, the truth is that I didn’t like it; in my view, this isn’t a youthful or teenage fragrance.

What is that delicious perfume? My dad had it a few years ago, and honestly, I don’t recall smelling anything better during my adolescence. It seems strange that it isn’t talked about more, but it’s also good that it remains somewhat undervalued so the price doesn’t rise. Without a doubt, it’s one of my next purchases. Totally autumnal for going out for a coffee or a walk in the park. My sensation is like cutting down a tree and resin and oil coming out; everything mixes to give a very masculine scent, but one that a young person can wear quite comfortably.

I’m new to referencing perfumes, but after reading the reviews, I decided to look it up. It’s true that due to limited production or batch variations, it’s very exclusive. I bought it because it reminds me of Avon’s Open Road, but this is more refined, with a very strong scent of being inside the woods on an autumn/early spring morning. I received compliments that I smell like a man.

What a bloody fantastic perfume! The opening is citrusy, strong and refreshing. After a few minutes, the woody and earthy notes emerge, finishing with copaiba’s resinous character and a tiny hint of musk. For now, I haven’t noticed the other declared notes. It’s easy to describe: it literally smells like damp tree bark—earthy and dense—but it’s a rich scent. You can definitely detect the resin; it’s oily on the nose and, although it may seem odd, that’s what makes it unique. It’s an unusual perfume at first, but then it opens up and you’ll find it exquisite. Super relaxing, informal, and if you’re under 20 with a few years under your belt, it’s perfect for daily wear in mild seasons and even in the cold thanks to its dark tone. Longevity is good, around 4 to 5 hours. As a final point, it’s tricky to try on yourself the first time, but everyone else who smells it absolutely loves it.

Trying it on my skin today. It has a vibe reminiscent of D&G Pour Homme to me, I don’t know why, but I like it. We’ll see how long it lasts.

I bought it after reading the reviews. It’s an adorable, soft fragrance, reminiscent of a nook in a damp mountain forest after a fresh shower, with piled-up and wet leaves and tree bark. It’s dark. A wonderful, fleeting masterpiece. Unfortunately, on my skin the trail lasts only half an hour, after which it’s barely perceptible for another half hour. I wear it to go to bed after bathing on fresh or cold days. A pity; I won’t repurchase it, even though I consider it wonderful.

It’s an uncommon, resinous, and pleasant scent that smells of forest and jungle. The performance is quite basic, so it’s worth testing before buying and looking for a super discount.

I absolutely love it and wear it daily. It projects well and lasts about 5 or 6 hours on my skin. It’s citrusy but has a sweetness that makes it special for casual outings. It’s very versatile, though it performs better in spring and autumn.

A very pleasant fragrance. The opening has a tiny citrus touch that fades quickly, leaving a small note that accompanies the main heart, which is the Copaíba. You can also sense the musk in the background, and I don’t perceive anything else particularly. It’s an informal, daytime scent, though I wouldn’t mind wearing it to work, provided there are no meetings. I think it suits going for a walk, heading out at dusk, or being in relaxed situations. In my perception, it works better in temperate seasons, Autumn or Spring; I don’t think it’s suitable for extreme cold or heat. After applying it, it’s moderately noticeable for about an hour and a quarter, and on skin it lasts 4 to 5 hours if applied well, reaching the sixth hour but in a very weak, muted way. I have nothing to criticise; it’s from the Ekos Men’s line, 100ml, and more economical than the Humors which only come in 75ml. The cost/performance ratio is very good. It may not be to everyone’s taste, but I believe most will find it a pleasant, wearable scent.

My father owns one. It’s oily and a bit affected. It’s citrusy but only right at the beginning. It has good sillage; I think it’s very unisex (I steal a little from him every now and then). A very good economical option from Natura, very fresh, for casual occasions. I love it.
Geco
It’s a pleasant and relaxing fragrance worth having in the collection. I consider it suitable for any occasion as it conveys bonhomie and tranquility.

Copaíba Natura Men. I’ve had this perfume in my collection for years, and for some reason, I still have half a bottle left. It’s a very different aroma from mass-market fragrances. Moderate citrus opening, it smells oily, resinous, woody, sour, bitter, and earthy. Imagine bringing your nose close to the trunk of one of those trees that exude resin. That results in an incredible combination. Once you start opening your olfactory palate, you begin to appreciate fragrances like this. And not just staying with sweet, fluffy scents. This aroma proposes something very different in that regard. I’ve had experiences of using it without much desire and receiving compliments I didn’t expect honestly. Depending on how one appreciates and interprets the notes of this perfume, you may or may not like it. I believe it is a fragrance that is undoubtedly worth having; I don’t think it’s an ‘easy’ aroma, but it’s worth getting to know. The scent is very particular, and the duration isn’t a concern for me as I tend to reapply. If it’s not clear, my experience with the perfume is excellent. I recommend it (if you can try it first).

Spectacular! I bought it from the previous batch; they relaunched it in 2022 and speculators lowered the price, so I grabbed this one, along with the Elixir and the Alma, all relaunched in Argentina this year. I loved it: a strong, fresh citrus (lemon) opening that made the people around me spin, then it turned woody and sweet, closing with a sweet leather. On my skin, it projects strongly at the start and lasts more than 6 hours; it’s an EDT so it’s perfect, and although my skin isn’t of a good pH, this batch turned out excellent. They didn’t discontinue it as they say, but since it’s a special perfume that depends on the harvest and is stored in casks, they relaunch it every year or two. Don’t despair, it comes back. The price is spectacular and it is comfortably unisex.

I love it, an out-of-the-ordinary scent, oily, resinous, foresty, and tropical… uff, difficult to define all the sensations it evokes. Certainly, it’s a fragrance for ‘personal enjoyment’; probably they won’t tell you ‘you smell rich’, but rather ‘oh, what do you smell like?’. Generally, I haven’t received compliments because in Chile it’s rare for people to praise your perfume, but it doesn’t matter, as all my perfumes are for me to like, not for others. It has something (just a little) of the wonderful and unparalleled Natura Ekos Alma, but of course, Ekos Alma is sublime, it’s niche quality. Nevertheless, Copaíba has its own strengths. Another interesting point is that I think it would suit a woman well.

It smells great, but it vanishes in a jiffy and leaves no trace. The only thing in its favour is that it’s incredibly cheap; the downside is that it doesn’t last even a moment. Also, they no longer sell it.

What a pity Natura decided to throw away such a high-quality fragrance… Only a few units remain online and they’re asking ridiculous prices. Luckily, I found a seller with just two bottles and bought them at half the price others were charging. It’s a work of art: discretely sweet and fortified resinous wood; I don’t know how they achieve that liquor note (like CH Men Privé but softer). If it had better longevity and projection and came in a bottle from Dior or Chanel, it would be worth 100€ (and I’m not exaggerating), or 180€ if it were from Roja Dove; that’s how this world works. Over time, it becomes more resinous and the wood takes centre stage, always with a very pleasant sweetness that makes it addictive. That wood reminded me of Declaration of a Soir by Cartier, but the difference is that Cartier pairs it with a fantastic rose, whereas this takes a different path. That’s reality: years ago Natura discontinued Essencial Elixir (another exquisite scent) after just two years, overshadowing the star CH Men Privé… yet it surpassed it in every way at a third of the cost. Now this, which I can’t find a similar alternative to, has its own personality. I don’t usually review discontinued fragrances, just to urge those who appreciate this Copaíba to buy the remaining units quickly. In Brazil, they’re replacing it with Homem Emocion, but judging by the reviews, there’s quite a bit of anger and longing for both scents. Respectful greetings, fellow enthusiasts.

What a pity Natura threw it away. Only a few are left online and the prices are insane. Luckily, I came across a seller who had two bottles and bought them at half the price others were asking. It’s a jewel: resinous wood, subtly sweet, with an incredible liquor touch (like CH Men Privé but softer), a work of art that with more longevity and a bottle from Dior or Chanel would be worth 100 euros, and if it were from Roja Dove, 180. That’s how this world works. Over time, it becomes more resinous and the wood takes over, with that pleasant sweetness that makes it addictive. That wood reminds me of the wood in Declaration of a Soir by Cartier, but here there’s no rose; it goes another way. That’s reality: first they discontinued the Essencial Elixir in two years and it surpassed the Men Privé from CH at a third of the price. Now this one, which has no equal, has its own personality. I don’t usually review discontinued items, but I want lovers of Copaíba to hurry up. In Brazil, they replace it with Homem Emocioné, but there’s a lot of outcry and they miss both. Greetings, comrades.

Unlike @Dodo, I don’t forgive the poor performance; if it lasted longer, it would be spectacular. It’s almost there: an opening that is slightly alcoholic and lasts a minute, then a clean wood, a soft sweetness, and an exquisite liquor that hypnotise you and make you float in a woody paradise, comparable to niche. I’ve tried everything, nothing pleases me as much. It’s on par with Tom Ford for 10 euros, which is why I don’t forgive it lasting only 3-4 hours on skin and one hour projecting, far too little. It’s an EDT and most have better performance. Ladies and gentlemen of Natura, don’t discontinue it, just improve the performance and people would happily pay 80 euros. Here in Argentina it’s called Ekos Copaíba, it costs a lot and is only available online; I deduce they are going to throw it away, a grave mistake. Ekos Copaíba by Natura, you could be Federer or Nadal and you are just a tennis player with a ranking of 590 that almost no one knows, what a pity.

I forgave its modest performance for that spectacular, accessible scent; it smells of oil, earth, and dampness, with a leather note that adds originality. It’s addictive for the office or intimate dinners. Natura suspended it to harvest natural ingredients, elevating it to niche status. It lasts five hours, but olfactory fatigue makes me reapply without guilt; it’s my guilty pleasure.
Dodo
Smells of grease, acid, dry and rough wood… I absolutely love it! It’s a scent unlike the common ones, which is why it gets a perfect 10. It lasts for ages, even if you don’t notice it due to olfactory fatigue.

COPAÍBA NATURA: Finally got it. How do you describe a scent that needs nothing else? It has elegance, class, and personality. It’s an oily balm, like fresh tree sap, natural, masculine, and wild. One of Verónica Kato’s finest creations. Scent 10, moderate projection, lasts six hours. Highly recommended.

Smells of oil, acid, dry wood… I LOVE IT! It’s different from the usual, which is why it deserves a 10. Lasts a long time, even though olfactory fatigue might make you think otherwise.

The opening is the most exotic: decomposing fruits, like dark lemons, soon giving way to spices (pepper, myrrh) and resins leading to majestic sandalwood. Sometimes it smells of patchouli and wet vetiver. The musk cleans it up with soapy tints, rounding off the copaiba. Worth a spot on the shelf with The One by D&G or for layering.

What is copaiba? It’s an oil tapped from the tree without felling it, very sustainable. The perfume starts alcoholic and citrusy (lemon, bergamot), then the copaiba appears with a household product scent, yet it’s fresh and woody. The sandalwood is sweet but not loud. It doesn’t smell of an older person; it suits those over 30. It’s soft and comfortable, like freshly varnished furniture. I sprayed it on my wardrobe and it works well. Surprised, it lasted 11 hours on me; it has the 3Bs.

My first review: I liked it so much I bought a second bottle. It’s excellent for any weather and time of day. The opening is strong from the atomiser, but once applied, it’s warm and gentle.
Paolo Kallfkurá
I’ve used it and people say I smell good. It lives up to its price; while others claim it lasts three hours, on my skin it exceeds seven, it clings to clothes, and I feel no guilt about over-applying. It opens citrusy and green, then moves to soft woods and resins that leave a clean, sophisticated scent. It’s subtle, persistent, and unobtrusive. Ideal for personal daily wear; more potent perfumes might overpower it, but for those seeking soft quality, it’s the option. Sometimes I notice a pleasant oily note, likely the copaiba oil.
