It was one of my first perfumes; my friend gifted me the travel size years ago, and to be honest, I still have some left. When I received it as a child, I absolutely hated it: it was too strong, made me feel sick, and gave me terrible headaches. I thought I’d grow to like it over time, but for years now I haven’t dared to use it; even just remembering it makes me feel nauseous. Recently, now that I’m older, I mustered the courage to try it again. At night, when I’m sleepy, it works fine and causes no symptoms. But during the day, puff! it’s a terrible idea: with the sun, working in the office, and that scent that won’t wash off no matter how much I rinse with water, I nearly faint. The fragrance is awful, overpoweringly strong and synthetic; I don’t think everyone can tolerate it. Although I adore vanilla scents, this one was definitely disapproved for me. I’ve put it away again because I simply can’t stand it.
