I remember back in the early 90s smelling this perfume on my English teacher at secondary school and on my younger aunts. As I liked it, I’ve added it to my collection without a doubt. It’s that classic powdery sweetness with good longevity, just like any vintage perfume.

I bought it blindly at a ridiculously low price due to my love for vintage perfumes. Perfumes from back then certainly had longevity, quality, and projection as if they were current designer fragrances. It smells very similar to Tresor, nothing to envy, and considering the price… the decision is made as a low-cost alternative. It’s a typical 90s peach with lots of vanilla and depth, surely given by the woods and heliotrope alongside the iris root. A proper gem with exceptional longevity. If you find it and like Tresor, don’t hesitate and get a bottle.

This fragrance has that potent 90s peach note that Sophia Grojsman worked so well in Lancôme’s Tresor, which I know well as that was a perfume my mother used during my childhood. Exclamation is an oldie I was keen to try, although I was worried it might be too similar to Volupté by Oscar de la Renta, which I also own and which in turn resembles Tresor. It’s true they are somewhat similar but have many differences; Volupté is sweeter, much more aromatic, featuring melon instead of peach, with noticeable mimosa and floral notes, plus sandalwood. Moreover, it’s more complex and of higher quality. Volupté is also much more powerful than Exclamation, which is far from being a subtle perfume either. These three perfumes mentioned (Volupté, Exclamation, and of course Tresor) were created by Sophia, just like Jaipur. If I had to recommend one of the four based on its scent and value for money, I’d probably stick with Volupté. As for the specific scent, Exclamation smells of peach and heliotrope with lots of vanilla. It’s a powdery fruity composition that results in a warm, sweet, youthful, and cosy aroma. I think it’s perfect for use in the colder months, noticeable but not invasive, a hit for an autumn day like today. It has a moderate trail and a longevity of around 7-8 hours on my skin, very worthy for an EDT. If you like this olfactive profile, are looking for something at a good price, and find Volupté too bombastic, Exclamation could be a good option. Scent 7/10, Longevity 7.5/10, Trail 7/10, Value for money 7.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 4/10. Would I buy it again? Probably yes.

I bought this blind and, although I could see myself using it once I’d finished the bottle, I wouldn’t repurchase. I never wore this fragrance during my childhood or adolescence, but I felt like trying it now. On my skin, it’s evident that it’s a very musky scent from start to finish. I only detect the fruit in the opening for a short period; afterwards, it’s just vanilla blended with flowers, with the jasmine standing out more than anything else. If you have the chance, test it first; I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy, no matter how inexpensive it is.

I had this bottle, the black and white one, and it has nothing to do with the exclamation of my adolescence, which was frosted glass with a red cap. I bought it thinking to smell that which I loved so much… and no. I don’t like it at all; it’s cloyingly sweet, typical for a very young child. Fortunately, I managed to get an original one, which, despite being a bit worn by time and poor storage, does bring back those lovely 90s memories.

What a disappointment with this little bottle, in which I expected to find the spark mentioned here. At first sniff, it seemed interesting, something wanted to remind me. But at the second, it turned my face like a slap. I have a feeling it’s not my case; I can’t stand it. I find it blunt, generic, and outdated. Definitely something tells me, I don’t know what, but I can’t take it.

After 16 years without using it, I bought it again. What a treasure; I knew I loved it but I remember why. On my skin, it’s a rich vanilla talcum, clean, with excellent performance for daily use. I think I’ll finish it soon. In my adolescence and 20s, I used to finish it quickly. Anecdote: I have an 8-year-old girl who smells all my perfumes and told me she loved it, saying that out of all she’s heard, none is like this.

A timeless treasure to keep forever! A classic that never goes out of style. Elegant, sensual, feminine, and suitable for any age. Super versatile: fresh enough for the hottest summer days, yet delicious and sexy for the coldest nights. Honestly, it’s hard to describe, but I detect vanilla and jasmine; nothing citrusy or powdery. The trail is moderate and lasts about eight hours on me. A comfortable and pleasant scent for those around you. I’ll buy it again and again. Excellent value for money!

First purchase based on the ingredients and reviews. It smells delicious, soft, clean, and slightly powdery, feminine, with good longevity but nothing intrusive, not even in the top notes. One of the best perfume purchases; it ticks all three B’s (good, beautiful, and cheap). I’m addicted to perfumes and they disappear on me like water; I use them daily and reapply several times a day when the scent fades. Unfortunately, my favourite from her isn’t cheap (Trésor), but this has left me with an excellent first impression. Sophia Grojsman is my favourite perfumer; I own at least 12 of her fragrances and repeat some more than 10 times. I love her scents of peach, iris, heliotrope, ylang-ylang, vanilla, sandalwood, and amber… her blends are perfect, catering to all tastes and budgets.

I used to wear this perfume when I was 13! Wow, what memories. It smells very nice; I think it’s aimed at teenagers or young adults. It’s sweet and vanilla-scented, so delicious!

It’s a classic; I used to wear it and would recognise it anywhere.
