This isn’t a review, but if anyone reads this, could you comment on how Desir de Rochas smells and whether you’d recommend it for autumn and winter? Many thanks.
Hello Jesús Ramón, my brother gifted it to me and it smells nice. It’s a fresh EDT for everyday wear, though nothing extraordinary. At 27 euros, I wouldn’t buy it myself, but everyone smells it differently and the trail varies. For me, the opening is sweet but not overpowering; after 30 minutes, the cocoa and cardamomo emerge without losing the grapefruit, becoming more serious afterwards. The cocoa is almost imperceptible; people say they smell it, but I don’t. Then the cocoa fades and the vanilla arrives, lasting until the perfume ends. Would I recommend it? It depends on what you’re looking for. I wouldn’t pay that for it; I prefer my Jil Sander, which smells of mixed pepper, spicy yet subtle. It’s not for autumn or winter, but rather for spring and summer. It has good skin longevity, although I’m not sure how long the trail lasts as I’ve only tested it at home.
Hello, to be honest, it didn’t convince me at all. I was looking for that hint of cocoa and vanilla promised in the description, but all I detect is a 100% citrus scent. Furthermore, I dare say it smells far too much like Watt Blue. Have a lovely day and I hope you all do enjoy it.
