It’s essentially incense with a subtle, pleasant bergamot that fades quickly. The rest is incense and labdanum, which sweetens the blend slightly. High-quality ingredients and very wearable. In my opinion, it’s perfect for layering and boosting other scents with a touch of incense if you fancy ‘turning it up’. Original? No, there’s nothing special beyond what the label says. If you don’t own incense fragrances, it’s a great option, but if you’re already familiar with others, this falls short. Anyway, the brand markets this line as a recreation of a basic quality note with no further pretensions. Very long-lasting, not heavy or sharp; on cool days or evenings it develops beautifully and is highly enjoyable. 7.5/10
