  As soon as you step out, the first thing you notice is cumin and clementine; the latter adds a citrusy touch with a hint of sweetness. The cumin doesn’t last long and fades quickly into the background, though it still leaves a spicy trail. Gradually, in the heart, labdanum, tobacco and olibanum start to take centre stage. Initially, the olibanum dominates with its distinctive dry, smoky scent. Then the tobacco enters, adding more dryness and roughness, and finally the labdanum brings the warm, amber note. Here the fragrance is sweet but not cloying, with a woody base. In the final dry-down, the olibanum loses intensity and that smoky, dry sensation from the middle phase. Projection is moderate and longevity good; in my opinion it’s unisex, though with a more masculine character. I’d wear it better in cooler weather, though it doesn’t feel overwhelming in heat either. After using it just twice, I think it’s a good perfume: it’s not my favourite from the brand nor my top tobacco scent, but it’s well-made, quality and original, as it’s not the typical tobacco with honey or vanilla. The blend of olibanum and tobacco seemed very intriguing to me.
