It smells delicious; it’s sweet yet fresh. It reminds me a lot of Elizabeth Arden’s Pretty Hot; I love both of them.
I’m not sure; I have the impression that recent Kenzo fragrances don’t last as before. I remember that even the subtle ones lasted all day with a great trail. This scent is pleasant, slightly sweet, and with that elegant simplicity of the house, but it doesn’t last long enough on my skin and its trail is modest.
I don’t like it; too floral. It should be called Magnolia in the Air; I can’t perceive anything else.

I’ve loved Flower in the Air. The opening is sweet rose and clean, slightly soapy at the start. The raspberry is what stands out the most, balancing everything. It’s fresh, soft, light floral, and feminine. It didn’t last as long, about 4 to 5 hours, but it didn’t bother me to reapply. I disagree with those who say it’s the same as the original Flower; this isn’t dusty or intense; it’s a lighter, softer version. It’s my choice for spring-summer; I feel comfortable and enjoy its feminine trail.
Flower in the Air has really pleased me. The opening is a sweet, clean pink, slightly soapy at first. I think the raspberry is the note that stands out most, balancing everything. It’s fresh, soft, floral and feminine. It didn’t last very long, about four or five hours, but I didn’t mind reapplying. I disagree with those who say it smells the same as Kenzo’s Flower; this isn’t sweet powder, but a light, soft version, nothing dusty. For now, it’s my choice for spring and summer. I feel comfortable wearing it and enjoy its soft trail.
I was looking for something floral for spring and summer. I wanted Kenzo, but Flower seemed dusty and heavy to me. This bottle is more affordable and pretty for my purse. At first, there’s a delicious raspberry note, followed by flowers like rose and gardenia, with a delicate musk base. Sometimes you don’t need more notes. It has a subtly soapy, fresh, and clean touch. The roses are sweet and innocent, cheerful and romantic. Longevity is moderate, but in summer, I prefer lighter scents. Finding a floral that isn’t overwhelming is difficult, but with patience, the reward is worth it. Delighted.
It’s a perfect cocktail: raspberry and flower with a musk base, ideal for all year round. The trail is powerful; 100% of people notice it in the first two hours. Then the raspberry and flower give way to an intriguing musk that lasts another 3 or 4 hours, depending on skin hydration and pH.
Definitely a matter of taste. The other Kenzo fragrances are too sweet for me, but this one seemed spectacular.
I’m sorry, I didn’t like it. Perhaps my cool climate and short summers don’t do it justice, but for me, it’s too intense and sharp.
I’m sorry, but it’s one of the fragrances I haven’t liked. Perhaps I can’t appreciate it in its full glory because my climate is cool and summers are short. It seems too intense and sharp to me.
I tried it at Duty Free and Kenzo hasn’t disappointed. I sprayed it on my wrists and arms, and the longevity was spectacular. Forget the ‘sweet and floral’ description that sounds so soapy; this is ethereal, delicate, and vaporous. It has nothing to do with the iconic Flower; it’s more youthful and light. I want it in my collection!
I smelled this perfume in a Duty Free and Kenzo hasn’t disappointed. I tested it on my wrists and arms to see how it fixed and settled, and the results were spectacular. Although the description lists it as ‘sweet and floral’, to me that sounds cloying and heavy; the reality is that it’s super ethereal, delicate, subtle and delicious, with very good longevity. I love the legendary Flower from the house, but this has nothing to do with it. It’s musky, more youthful, less heavy and more vaporous. I definitely want it in my collection!
It’s a delight, very dedicated. Although it’s described as a summer scent, I wore it all winter and found it super comfortable; I would buy it again.
Yes, but no, it’s not among my favourites, there are better ones.
It’s a fresh perfume that reminds me of many similar ones.
A floral scent, pleasant and slightly sweet. But it’s something I’ve smelled in a thousand products, so it feels very common and nothing spectacular.
This is my go-to fragrance. I love it. I feel it as subtle, sweet, fresh and with a powdery touch. I think it’s the only one that hasn’t bored me. It’s a pity I stop smelling it quickly. I notice it well for the first hour (I’d say it feels a bit heavy), then the nose gets used to it. It lasts longer on clothes. Someone sprayed the EDT version on me in a perfumery and it lasted a long time. As this is EDP I thought it would last the same or more. I still don’t stop loving it because I adore the fragrance. <3
A fresh floral with a slight sweetness, ideal for this hot season. I liked it, although I wouldn’t buy it as I’m not a great fan of totally floral perfumes.
It gave me a strange sensation because I was convinced it smelled of sweet violets. I sprayed it on my wrist and was jumping for joy because I adore violets. I told people it smelled of violets. But there’s no violet in the notes. My heart broke with confusion. Haha. Apart from that, it’s a fragrance with a moderate trail and longevity, pleasant for the heat. It’s ethereal. Flower In The Air, flowers in the air. Very fitting the name. It’s feminine and sweet, not in a sugary sense, but sweet in essence, as if it had personality. It’s the second Kenzo I know and it goes brilliantly. It’s much lighter than Flower and keeps its touch. ♡Scent: 10/10 ♡Trail: 7.5/10 ♡Longevity: 8/10

Floral, fresh and sweet. Ideal for when it’s hot.
Flower in the Air is tender, floral-fruity, with that typical Kenzo powdery touch. I tried it on the first day in the heat and it bothered me a bit, with too much musk for my taste. Today, on a cooler day, I’ve enjoyed it much more. I’d say it’s better for sensitive noses or those who don’t like powdery scents in temperate climates, unlike others who wear it in the heat.
For daily wear I use Flower, but for summer I was looking for something fresher and found Flower in the Air. I love it. The Flower scents are like two sides of a coin: one for winter and this other one sparkling and summery. So happy!
It’s one of my favourites. I’m a huge fan of white flowers, especially gardenia, which shines here alongside magnolia. The Japanese elegance of the brand really comes through. Although it’s floral, it blends beautifully with raspberry and pink pepper. There’s a very distinct powdery touch that makes it innocent and fresh. In short, it’s elegant and subtle, yet vital and cheerful. I wear it for day and night. I haven’t used it daily lately, but it remains essential. I prefer it to the classic Flower. The only downside is that the trail isn’t huge and the longevity could be better.

Roses, smells delicious, I don’t find it sweet; it’s more of a powdery red rose, an intense red rose. I don’t find it youthful, tender, or fresh at all. I don’t know what’s happening with my pH, but I imagine dancing a passionate tango when I wear it. I like it very much, but not for everyday wear.
This perfume is discontinued in my country, Argentina, but I found a forgotten tester in a pharmacy. Roses and sweet, watery roses; the rose is the main note and feels very natural. The magnolia adds freshness. The issue is the raspberry: it’s present, adding sweetness, but it’s not Kenzo’s characteristic berry; it’s more synthetic and sugary, neither acidic nor bursting. I suppose to not overshadow the rose and magnolia, but I was quite surprised since Kenzo scents are usually very organic. Moderate trail and moderate longevity. A lovely fragrance if you want to smell of roses. I liked it quite a bit; I probably would have bought it if it were available. Fresh, floral, sweet, not cloying, not powdery, more aquatic or light.
On me, it smells like nothing… from the bottle, it hit me with excessive alcohol, but once applied, there’s no alcohol scent. Definitely not for me; even though I over-sprayed, I barely perceive some mid-aquatic notes (must be the pink pepper and perhaps the raspberry). No Kenzo ever sits well on me… only the original Flower.
Roses and red fruits. I wear it during the day. For me, perfumes represent my moods or how I want my day to be. When I wear it, I feel I’ll have the best day. The scent is intense at first, but its trail lasts on me for at least 5 hours. It’s fresh, pleasant, magical. Ideal for daily use. Flower in the air represents JOY.
I adore this perfume; it’s my all-time favourite. It’s lightly fruity floral, zero cloying, delicate yet with presence. When I wore it, I felt happy, sexy, and feminine (without slipping into femme fatale). Suitable for every day.
It’s one of the most exquisite fragrances I’ve ever tried. I fell in love at first sniff and it’s now on my list of favourites. It’s super long-lasting on the skin. I say it: it’s exquisite, rich. It’s pricey, but I believe it’s worth it if you can treat yourself.
So far, I haven’t found anything from Kenzo that I dislike; all the ones I’ve tried are attractive in their own way. Alberto Morillas played with Flower from 2000 and brought us more than a flanker; an oxygenated, crystal-clear version. Flower in the Air is an ethereal interpretation of the classic poppy. It opens with juicy red roses, pink pepper and raspberry water (the fruit isn’t red or very sweet, but pink, acidic with a natural sweetness that’s slightly synthetic). Although it’s delicate, its dry-down is potent and the rose is felt from start to finish. At first, it plays with the raspberry and a very slight soapy touch, perhaps due to the pepper, then reveals the magnolia and gardenias. It remains linear, leaving flashes of white flowers as it dries with a white musk base that gives it weight. It’s cheerful and dynamic, perfect for the day. Despite being fresh, it projects well for the first hour and a half and lasts four to five hours. I recommend it highly; apparently it’s discontinued, so if you find it, don’t miss the opportunity. Even with a few extra sprays, it would work on slightly cooler days.
So far, I haven’t found a Kenzo fragrance I dislike; every one I’ve tried is attractive in its own way. Here, Alberto Morillas played with his 2000 creation Flower and gave us more than a flanker: an oxygenated, crystal-clear version. Although it recalls the best-seller, it’s not very similar. ‘Flower in the air’ is an ethereal interpretation of the classic poppy, opening with juicy red rose petals, spiced with pink pepper and bathed in raspberry water (not red or overly sweet, but with a pinkish, naturally sweet yet slightly synthetic tone). Delicate, its opening is potent and the rose is felt from start to finish. At first, it plays with the raspberry, feeling a touch soapy (very little, perhaps due to the pink pepper), then floral notes from magnolia and gardenias in the heart. It remains linear, hinting at white flower sparkles in the dry-down with a white musk base that adds weight. Cheerful and dynamic, perfect for daytime. Despite being fresh, its performance is good: it projects well for the first hour and a half and lasts 4 to 5 hours. I highly recommend it; apparently it’s discontinued, so if you find a bottle, don’t miss the chance. A few sprays would work even on slightly cooler days.
Juicy rose, slightly acidic and aquatic. A cheerful, fresh rose perfume, nothing powdery or cloying. It stands out without being heavy. From the Flower family, it’s my favourite. Simple in concept but full of character, feminine and timeless, for rose lovers.
This was a much-loved perfume from years ago; it’s purely juicy, aquatic, and fresh raspberries with roses. It turns heads—I find it modern, simple, elegant, and easy to wear. It lasted 7 hours on me with a prominent trail, and lingered on clothes for several days. It’s a much coquettish and wearable version than the original Flower. I’d buy it again; it brings back wonderful memories.
I absolutely love it; it’s spectacular. The roses are noticeable without being overpowering, very feminine and not at all childish. Ideal for formal occasions, yet perfect for everyday wear too.
