I absolutely love this fragrance; it’s nothing synthetic, fresh yet not a typical citrus. It smells like quality shampoo, soft and unobtrusive. The initial citrus note fades quickly to reveal flowers and musk, that clean summer shower sensation. After three hours, it’s barely noticeable close to the skin, where the wood, musk and a floral touch emerge. I prefer perfumes with a contained sillage that won’t bother others but last long; the only downside is its poor longevity on my skin 💔. I didn’t expect this from Berdoues after the beasts that are Violettes de Toulouse, which I miss dearly 💜. Still, I’d buy it again because I enjoy it so much.
A fresh and citrusy opening that evolves into a delicate, youthful and feminine floral scent without losing that initial freshness. It’s totally summery and daytime, smells clean and, despite the olfactory pyramid, lasts quite a while on the skin. Berdoues takes care of the ingredients; they usually have good INCI, skin- and eco-friendly, something I value hugely.
