My first review here. I bought this perfume years ago; in Argentina it cost the same as Pravia Hay or the Fulton line. For me, Atkinsons Gold Medal is the best that reached our country, surpassing Lavender and Cologne. Very simple yet exquisite, fresh and delicate at the same time. It opened with bergamot, which I loved and didn’t know then, all framed within a citrus air. Minutes later, the neroli emerged as a great embrace that wouldn’t let you go. I received countless compliments with this cologne that didn’t last long but was never overlooked. If I had to define it in one word: Refined, Delicate. I would buy it again without doubt to recall those sixteen years it had on my body and now has in my soul. Greetings from Argentina.
A historical gem since 1799, awarded gold in Paris in 1878. This Gold Medal is a citrus delight that breaks through the barriers of time. Its link to the famous 4711 is obvious, as both early nineteenth-century recipes share similar ingredients. A natural harmony: refreshing bergamot, a neroli heart, and a musky base with rosemary and petit grain. Extremely summery and delicious, in the first hour it smells very much like Ferrari Bright Neroli, but with a more solid structure that gains in depth and longevity against its rival. It expresses timeless value and authentic class; although its happiness does not last hours, in those brief moments it radiates a brilliant light from the depths of time.
