It passed through my collection in a flash. It’s a citrus fragrance through and through, with slight sweet touches of tangerine and fruit. There’s an acidic and bitter note, probably from the bergamot and lemon, which didn’t quite take my fancy; on reflection, it’s not really my style. Also, I don’t know why my nose itched every time I wore it (to be expected, as I’m allergic to many things, haha). Recommended for those who like Armani Acqua di Gioia or Nina Ricci Bella.
Green Tea Summer is like that summer dress you keep in the back of the wardrobe and always rely on. It starts with lemon and bergamot, as if you’d squeezed citrus fruits to make fresh juice in the kitchen. The cyclamen gives it personality, like a pair of small earrings that complete the look without drawing attention. It’s for those normal summer days when life is just fine as it is. Perfect for going to the market on a Saturday, grabbing a drink on the terrace, or those planless August afternoons. It’s refreshing without being aggressive, fruity without being childish.
It caught my eye, so I tried it yesterday. At first, there are powerful citrus notes, but nothing fake. A few seconds later, I detect a flower I don’t recognise; perhaps it’s cyclamen due to the scent. It’s autumn, yet I bought it to add to my collection of this line, alongside the lavender and this one.
